Stones to Shatter the Stainless Mirror:: The Fearless Teachings of Tilopa to Naropa (Dharma-Path Books)

This is a fantastic book, and a pleasure to read. The imagery is wonderful. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in walking with Tilopa/Naropa. I will likely re-read this throughout my life.

Beautifully written! I found it hard to put down. It is presented in a way that makes you realize how relevant and timeless these teachings are. I will be reading it again.

Kiley Jon follows his first book with a step up into the realm of myth and history. The clarity of writing and imagery are transporting. Read it through, twice, enchanting and insightful.

Misleading title. This is manipulative to its audience, who imagine it is going to be what it states, "The fearless teachings of Tilopa to Naropa." Kiley Jon Clark has a lot of nerve passing this pretentious, mediocre at best interpretation of the origin of instructions in nondual awareness, as authentic teachings. I hate it when people do this. I never would have bought the book had I known what it really is. How can the author not know this?

Well, this book might have been inspired by the teachings of Tilopa and Naropa, which is not at all the same as the teachings of Tilopa and Naropa. Thus the title is completely misleading, as well as the use of the prevailing jargon used by Tibetan Buddhist writers, translators etc. At best, this is a self-help book imitating the style of currently used popular Tibetan translations to present the author's ideas, such as: "Find your own truth, Not the truth of others. Relax. Be cool. Smile. Your entire life Is the Path of Awakening." No kidding.

This is not the historic text or biography, but a poetic attempt to show the spititual evolution of Naropa, from his perspective. Very beautifil and romantic, but i have doubts about its coherence with the Law of cause and effect.

This book is deceptively touted as the teachings of Tilopa. It is not. I feel ripped off and wish I could get a refund.

For the Vajrayana Buddhist,a wonderful retelling of the great Naropa's life and search for his outer and inner Guru.Littered with Dharma insights all modern practitioners will recognise together with the obstacles to wholehearted engagement.A work from the heart that is both inspiring and encouraging written in a style that is very accessible to the modern reader.Homage to the Guru!xxx
