Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy

Very attractive front cover and beautifully illustrated inside. Quite a unique series of books. I bought this one and 'Fancy Nancy' as a present for the granddaughter of my close friend Nancy, who will take it when she visits her family in Australia for Christmas; I'm sure it will be a very pleasing gift.

I bought this Fancy Nancy book second hand as we already have one Fancy Nancy book . This book is in good condition and great value. I also bought Fancy Nancy and the Butterfly Birthday as my daughter loves them.

Our 9 year old daughter received this book for her birthday. She loves it and enjoys all of the Fancy Nancy series.

These books are lovely. Illustrations are brilliant and text is humorous. My granddaughters love these books and no wonder. Great.

The book itself is adorable, but unfortunately the way AMAZON packed it creased the front cover, so I will make sure I go to an actual book store to purchase my next book gift.

Fancy Nancy is the BEST! The girls I nanny loves these books because the pictures are vibrant and the text is quite witty. Plus, they get to learn big words and add them to their vocabulary.

My granddaughter and I love this book I just wish I was able to make the pictures larger on the Samsung note.

This is a fun to read book in the Fancy Nancy series. Like Jane O'Conner's other titles, this book follows Nancy through an experience - in this case getting a new puppy. She puppysits for a neighbour's dog and both she and Jojo, her sister, learn a lot about what type of dog might be best for their family! We got this book first from the library, but it became so popular that we got a copy for home. Highly recommended and a lot of fun to read aloud.

And boy am I glad to see her! I bought the first sparkley "Fancy Nancy" for my 3 year old granddaughter, Mary Mace, and she LOVES the book. It's one of her favorites. I pre-ordered this one and Mary Mace got it the day after her baby brother was born! Her Daddy read it to her right away and she adored the story of the posh puppy. In fact, when they all were leaving the hospital to bring the new baby home, Mary's Daddy said to her Mom: "What's the matter . . are you sad to leave this *posh* room?" LOL! Mary Mace explained to her Mom that posh was a fancy word for fancy. Ahem! Even Daddy's can learn new words. The story is about Nancy's neighbor getting a fancy dog called a Papillon. Nancy decides she wants one, too, that is until she 'babysits' the dog and realizes that it's not as much fun as her friends' plain old dogs because it doesn't like to play and fetch. It just likes to sit around looking pretty all day! So Nancy's Mom takes her to the animal shelter where she finds a Poodle named "Frenchie" who is just right for her. This is a fabulous book with a great moral and the artwork is magnificent. A perfect book for any little boy or girl who loves stories.
