Great quality, very sturdy, hefty weight, and size. My wife likes the design on the front and it fits our fireplace perfectly. Great value. Nice dark coloring and provides excellent protection for the kids. Would buy again.

Beautiful but falls over
Gorgeous grate and works well for blocking the fireplace but the cats have knocked it over a couple of times. It would be helpful if there were something to secure it in place.

Basically, I love it!
Absolutely love this fireguard. Stands up well, seems good and sturdy. Looks perfect with our copper theme. There were plenty of pure copper guards which were much less affordable. Yes, this is black with copper paint, but for the price it looks brilliant. We haven't needed the fire since we got it - typical! But the mesh looks like good protection and it stands well and is very adjustable. Basically, I love it!
