Pecan Halves, Roasted & Salted, 16 Oz (Previously Happy Belly, Packaging May Vary)

Short version: Pecans, delicious pecans, roasted in oil and dosed with salt. Crunchy, satisfying pecans that are mostly whole and large pieces. Pronounce "pecan" any way you like because nobody really cares. (The correct pronunciation is "peh-kahn" though. Bless your heart.) The whole story: I hit one of those milestone birthdays this year that tends to prompt some introspection. While I appreciate, am grateful for and enjoy good health thanks to a combination of genes, luck and lifestyle choices, I have expanded my definiton of the generally "sensible diet" I follow. My last decade saw me forswear forever all margarine varieties in favor of genuine butter, the salted kind even! Already this year I've returned to the whole milk I enjoyed in my youth and have abandoned the "white water" that is skim and the various percentages. Then last week, as I was eating a small handful of raw pecans, I thought, "Man, these would taste so much better if they were roasted and salted, and not "dry roasted" either, roasted with OIL." So yeah, unless I genuinely prefer the taste of a dry roasted nut -thinking of cashews here- I'm not going to compromise taste for some meagre health advantage. Oh, and turkey "bacon"? Tried it once when it first hit the market in the early 1990s and once was enough. Anyway, BUY THESE NUTS. THEY'RE DELICIOUS!

I really love these roasted and salted pecans. They are crunchy, flavorful, and satisfy my cravings perfectly, whether I'm just looking for a snack or feeling a bit hungry. They are fresh and of great quality. These have become my go-to snack throughout the day. I will definitely be ordering more!

I love roasted salted pecans and these are the best! They're fresh, crunchy and have a delicious flavor. Although they're labelled Pecan Halves, in reality, my package was about 70% halves and the rest was large pieces. That doesn't take away from their delicious flavor, however. It's a great product at an amazingly low price.

PRO: 1: A lot pecans in bag. 2: reasonable price for what you get. 3: taste was good. 4: they were not stale. they did not taste "fresh" either but they were good tasting. CON: 1: after ripping of seal i opened the bag or tried to. i could not. i ended up cutting the bag and putting the nuts in another container. 2: about 20 percent of them where crumbles. CONCLUSION: Would i get again. yea i would but i will try other flavors first.

Roasted, salted pecans are my favorite snacking nuts. Had been buying smaller packages at the grocery store which were pretty pricey. Searched Amazon for a better value and found these. They're great. Not too hard, not too salty, just perfect. There are broken pieces in the bag along with the halves but since these are for me, I don't care. I've added these to my subscribe & save order which has made them an even better value.

These are roasted and salted, they don't taste salted. I purchased two bags of them and have only opened one. I will see if I can return the one I still have. The pecans got three stars only because I do like pecans.
