Micro Sol Microscale BMF128 Setting Solution MSSOL

Very good at its job. Use with microset and multiple layers until you achieve your desired result.

This stuff is MAGIC. Decals typically have a very obvious DECAL look, especially on curved surfaces, but this micro sol really does the trick of making decals look painted on. Especially if you put a little matte medium over the top at the end. All the harsh edges of the decal sheet fade away, and they look AMAZING! A must have!

I just started modelling again after 30+ years, and I did my first Enterprise model without this and it went ok, I didn;t put down a primer paint so the decals moved around a bit and it was workable. My second Enterprise kit I decided to give it the recommended base coat, and that drastically changed things. The decals would not easily move about as they did on smooth plastic. It was a real pain. I ordered this setting solution, and decided to work out the main hull decals while I waited, it was a difficult task, the decals would stick right to it, and when you needed to adjust it, they were very difficult to move around and I tore them, it was also tough to work out the air bubbles. I decided for the rest of the ship to wait for my product to arrive. It took me a few applications to really get used to this stuff, but right off I noticed the significant differences. The ship stayed moist enough long enough to actually work out the bubbles and shift the decals as needed, amazingly well actually. By the time I was halfway through, I had a system and was no longer intimidated by the process, afraid of what would happen if I didn't place it right the first time. After applying the solution to the top of the placed decals, I was able to work the bubbles out easily, and the decals were soft enough to conform to the shapes of the model itself. This product was amazing on every level, and the sender had this in my hands very quickly, faster then the anticipated mailing times were given. I would highly recommend both this product and the merchant as well! AAA+++

After you position your water transfer to your model or miniature, let it dry, then brush a little of this on. It will soften the decal and make it conform to the surface of the model or mini. Fantastic product and I don't know how it took me so long to discover this product.

There is a learning curve but good results are very achievable. It softens the decal so it contours itself to the surface irregularities, body lines, door lines. It works exactly like it says it does. I'd applied many waterslide decals in my time but this is a game changer. It does make it look like its painted on.

Works well. Makes plastic model decal set and contour to the surface. It took me a couple of practice runs to get the hang of using it, not the products' fault but mine. I will definitely purchase again

Added some tiny decals to my model trains. This made them look factory applied! Like a pad printed decal. Must have product. Used Mirco Set first, then apply the decal and set into position. Once it adheres, apply this Micro Sol with a very soft brush. It desolves the actual paper portion and the lettering appears painted on.
