KneadEat Curved Wood Gnocchi Board Paddle for Homemade Italian Pasta

I’m new making this shape pasta. It’s small so doesn’t take up much room in your drawer. I would recommend this product!

Perfect! Last time I made gnocchi I used a fork. It was the first time I ever made them, and I expected it to take a long time but now that I used this gnocchi paddle I realize how much faster it would have been had I had this. I used a wood bbq skewer to help, see video. That made for nicely shaped, more consistent gnocchi than using my thumb. Check out the video I shared, this is ricotta gnocchi dough so potato gnocchi dough may be easier to work with but I can’t say from personal experience as I’m not a big fan of potato gnocchi because they are much heavier on the belly. This made making the gnocchi much faster and at the low price point, absolutely worth the hour it saved me. It also washed nice, I used a brush to get into the groves. I dried just fine, I think this is going to last a long time.

I purchased this Gnocchi Board Paddle, and I like it, but don't love it. Its lightweight, and it has very deep grooves which are good and help the gnocchi hold their ridges, but it is significantly smaller than it appears in picture, I was a little disappointed in that one regard, so if I could give it 4.5 stars I would, but can't say its a 5 star purchase.

I LOVE this thing! I bought this gnocchi board and another one. I made my first batch of gnocchi the other night and for some reason could not find this one so I used the other one. They came out ok, but I was really unhappy with the end result aesthetically. I had left over dough and luckily thos time I found it. From the VERY FIRST gnocchi it was a success. I did a couple using the other board and again they came out okay, but in comparison to the ones using this gnocchi board we're talking more than just a few meters apart. Seriously, the curve of this thing isn't just about getting that curved style that you see on the (terrible) store-bought gnocchi, it helps give it a repeatably more uniform shape as it "gathers" the dough at the edges keeping it from even thinking about going wonky on you. I am buying another one of these so I can have another successful gnocchi forming buddy when my child wants to help. I cannot recommend this enough! Buy it and you'll understand.

Am loving my KneadEat gnocchi paddle (never had one before)! The CURVATURE of the wood makes it easier to create beautiful gnocchi (whether potato or just cheese).Many reviewers complain of it being smaller than expected ... but that is why this DESIGN is so SMART. First, you don't need a larger paddle surface (since we only roll 1 @ a time) and if the paddle were larger, it would be less ergonomic and therefore harder to hold (forcing you to spread your fingers broader than necessary). Thank KneadEat for making it the perfect size so that your hand will not get sore even if making gnocchi for a 100 people.Cleaning Tip - mine came with beautiful smooth wood tines but I immediately oiled it with BAMBOO OIL. Doing this periodically will make any flour/paste easily slide right off even before you wash it. I bamboo oil all of my wood bamboo cooking utensils. Great product.

This gnocchi maker is tiny, it can fit in the palm of my hand. I haven't used it and it may work, but, my gripe is $10 bucks for a teeny tiny piece of cheap wood. Ridiculous!!!

This works great although my littleItalian grandma probably is rolling in herGrave that I use it and not doing all by hand. Ha! Ha! Ha!

The wood quality is excellent. It’s a very unique piece that will last forever. I haven’t had time to use it yet. Will update you as soon as I do. I bought it to make Italian gnocchi and traditional sweets.

Aún no utilizado pero la primera impresión es muy buena. Su tamaño es pequeño pero se ve cómodo de usar y de buena calidad. Tuve un problema con el envío y el vendedor me ayudó en todo momento. Recomiendo su compra.
