don't even think about it
Shure microphone is 100% fantastic. I love the stand it comes with. It's very sturdy and folds up. It took me a bit to figure out how to untwist the bottom lock to raise and lower the legs -- it took a lot more muscle basically. But once I figured it out, it's been awesome since. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a basic singing set up. Two things to note -- One, the mic stand has no boom, but I didn't really care. Two, there is no off switch for the mic. This is a personal preference that didn't bother me one way or the other.

Well worth the money!
If you're looking for an amazing stage microphone, Shure is where it's at. You'll never be disappointed, as these mics are just amazing. I've been using mine for the past 2 weeks now, and I feel since I've upgraded, the sound that resonates is much better than my other Shure microphone (which is still an amazing microphone). Definitely put your money here, as the guitar stand is very compatible, has locking feet, and an XLR cable included. Such a great price!

Perfect five stars !
Le nom Shure n'est plus à faire ! Le pied de micro est de très bonne qualité et très résistant et pour le micro Shure SM-58 sa réputation le précède depuis longtemps !

sound is a little 'blurred'
I purchased this for my hobby of singing song covers developed during COVIC-19. Originally I planed to purchase Rode NT1-A instead, since this is mainly for singing live. But the NT1-A was delivered twice but both failed for unknown reasons (maybe package damage according to Amazon CS), and it's out of stock. So I purchased this one instead. The build is pretty good, it feels a little heavy, which is nice. I tried it and compared with my original condenser mic (a cheap one from Sony - ECM-PCV80U, that I purchased many years ago), and found that songs recorded with the Sony mic is more clear than this one. I am not a vocal professional, so I don't know how to describe it in a professional way, but if we use image as a metaphor, result recorded with the Sony condenser mic sounds like an image that is sharp - may even contain some details that you don't want to have, while result with this mic sounds like an image that is blurred or softened a little, it looks smoother yet not as sharp, especially for those low notes. I guess that this is what expected for a dynamic mic. So basically the quality is satisfying but one may need to get used to working with it and its result. The Shure original XLR cable feels soft in a nice way. And the mic stand is surprisingly good. Originally I planned to purchase a table mount, but after searching for one, I realized that most (if not all) has problems, mainly something that I cannot understand, like the C clip is not cast in whole but was welded together with several pieces, and it often fall apart after using it for a period of time. Even the Amazon basic mic stand has some issues according to some users. Yet this one is really very solid! When I took it out of the box, the first feeling is that it's quite heavy. There is a piece of plastic part at the junction of the tripod but it feels quite solid too. Simply speaking, I don't expect it to fall apart at all. The steel shaft can almost be used as a weapon :-) No wonder that Shure would bundle this in their product.
