Manual of Repairing & Reconditioning Starter Motors and Alternators

Product was as advertised & arrived in a timely manner!

I thought this was a nice little manual well worth the read. I have a few antique tractors and other equipment plus vehicles. Many vehicle parts aren't so easy to rebuild anymore, we'll they are it just isn't the society we live in now and the basic parts you need for a rebuild are tough to find. The equipment and tractors parts on the other hand are very rebuildable so that's what I bought this for and I think with the 1 starter I've rebuilt so far it's already paid for itself.

A good general book about rebuilding alternators and starters.

This is exactly what I needed! I was able to rebuild the starter on my bike and save a ton of money doing so! She's never ran better.

Fairly good on the general basics of starters and alternators. This book was written by and Englishman, so the language and technical info is slanted somewhat toward the UK and it seemed a bit dated. If you are looking for specifics on rebuilding some specific US alternator or starter, there may be better places to find information, like dealer shop service manuals.

What a waste of money. The book is just a tad larger than your standard paperback. Just over 100 pages. Not, I say NOT a good manual. About the quality that a gifted tech school student could produce.
