This is my second time buying Wahl. the first one I bought was wireless during covid, everything is fine with it but the head is little loose and replacing the head is costing almost same as buying new. so this time I am experimenting with wired one. The clippers and attachments worked well for cutting mine and my boys hair (I have used it once). However, the scissors, though sharp, aren't well suited for cutting hair. They can be of a better quality. For the price though it is really a decent purchase and I am still happy because so far the clippers and attachments work great. Since it is electric it make sound, for some it may be an issue. for me it is not. the cut is smooth and quality wise it is good. it is a little heavier in weight than the battery powered one. But for the price it is good.

Love this hair trimming set! I cut my husband’s hair and all 6 of our kids so I needed a new reliable set. The boys no longer complain about hair pulling and the cord is long enough to stretch across the room. I love the colors of the different sizes so it’s easier to find. It is easy to use and safe from nicks. The storage box is perfect and keeps everything neat and tidy. The power is great and very quiet while running. I would recommend plus grab a couple of capes to keep hair off of clothes.

The clippers and attachments worked well for cutting my boys hair. However, the comb wasnt fine enough to really cut short layers well and the scissors, though sharp, arent well suited for cutting hair. Theyre hard to open and close and they seemed really bulky to hold. It made it difficult to hold the scissors and comb together for a barber style haircut in order to get a close cut. For the price though it is really a decent purchase and im still happy because so far the clippers and attachments work great. But will eventually be replacing the scissors and comb with a better set for more detail work.

i first bought a cheaper Wahl clipper for like 10 or 15 dollars less - and it was really cheap. This one is much better quality. Not for comercial use, but for home use it hits a sweet spot. The combs are nice and sturdy (the others were so thin you fear breaking them) and the unit itself feels like a good quality motor and blades. worth the extra money for sure.

Works great The clippers itself do kind of make a loud vibrating noise but usually as it starts making that noise I'm already done trimming my hair put my only issue with them is the guards are like off by a slight size compared to another one that's in the house that's the same brand but has the same guards but less styling and more of just official guards

My wife used an older unit of this clipper to cut hair for me and my kids for over 15 years, so we already trusted the brand Wahl . This replacement unit feels solid and well made, just like the old one. The performance is smooth, and the quality is definitely there. Hopefully, it will last just as long as our previous clipper.

It’s a good clipper. Works well out of the box. ….BUT: ….. it does NOT have stainless steel clipper teeth? I used it with some water to cut my hair. I let it air dry and came back to a rust stain on my counter a couple hours later. The teeth are showing signs of rust already as well. Upon review the manual says not to use water for cleaning and to apply oil every few uses. Only clean with dry brush. Thai is absurd! My old clipper didn’t need any oil for over 15 years and only died because the power cord was worn. It had stainless steel teeth and I could wash it with water and also wet my hair with water to have a cleaner cut and easier clean up. I’m honestly disappointed that nowadays you can’t buy any decent equipment anymore. I haven’t tested how it cuts now after the teeth are rusted, but I can’t imagine this clipper lasting 15 years if it rusts already after the first use.
