Davines VOLU Shampoo, Volume Shampoo For Fine, Thin Hair Types, Gentle Everyday Volumizing

I have a lot of very fine blondish hair and I've never been able to figure out how to give it any volume. I feel like every product I use just weighs it down. My hair gets greasy quickly, so I basically have to wash my hair every day. I can occasionally get away with skipping a day, but I usually use dry shampoo on those days so I look more like a human and less like a drowned rat. All that being said, this shampoo is the best I've found for my type of hair. It's by far the most money I've ever shelled out for a hair product, but it works. It makes my hair feel light and voluminous, and it smells fantastic. The viscosity of this Davines shampoo is thinner, so I'm running through the bottle quicker than I'm used to with my drugstore shampoo. It's so freaking expensive that I'm alternating it with my cheap shampoo, but if I were wealthy, I'd just stock up on this VOLU Shampoo and use it daily. It's really great. Highly recommend trying it if you have similar hair to me. (Buy one of the little travel sizes to try it out. That's what I did.)

It’s a great shampoo without All the harsh chemicals. I’ve used it for about a month now and I love it. It doesn’t have much scent to it but it does the job well!

Packages: it came the shampoo alone without any protection in the Amazon bag. The cap broke and leaked everywhere in the package. Scent: I don’t like the scent, it smells little industrial cheap perfume Volume: It does make my hair thicker and more textured, and more volume. But it dried out my hair.

One of my favorite shampoos! I have fine hair, and this brand does not disappoint! It has a pleasant scent, and makes my hair feel very clean. It is concentrated, so you can dilute it and it still works like magic. I also love to repurpose the containers.

I have super thin, greasy hair, it gets weighed down easily. So it’s hard to find a product I love. So far, so good. It makes my hair feel full, great volume, and a little goes a long way. The price does suck, but it’s worth it!

I just got this & my head is still wet after using so I’ll edit this review after more use but there’s already a few things I can touch on that had a significant impact on my decision to purchase. Scent: it does not smell bad, it has a nice scent but it is far from “heavenly” like some in here say. Value: this is not going to last anywhere near what others are claiming. I have medium length hair & it is VERY thin & fine, not much hair at all. I still had to use a decent amount & I feel like this is a very small bottle for the cost. Need for conditioner: my hair wasn’t anywhere near as tangled as it would be with “bargain” shampoos, but this didn’t make it super soft. I’m on the fence about whether I should use conditioner or not. UPDATE: not impressed. It’s not a bad shampoo it’s just not worth the money for me. After the first wash my hair was pretty flat, didn’t look great (not necessarily bad though), and my biggest issue was not having it be easy to run my fingers through as I’m constantly flipping it from one side to the other. The second use, I conditioned (with garnier fructis as that’s all I had) and while my hair was back to normal, it just didn’t make any difference from my usual cheap (Aussie or Garnier) brands. So in conclusion I’m underwhelmed & wish I didn’t spend so much on a shampoo.

Gives great volume all over! You don't even need to blow dry to get volume. Hair stays cleaner between washes. I used to wash everyday because it would get greasy before 24 hours was up. This I can get close to 48 hours. I don't have a problem with the lather. If you do it could be that you have a lot of product buildup or grease. To help I would suggest giving a wash with another shampoo to remove that and then use this last. Also, I find it better to wash forward with my head down because I'm lathering my scalp and greasy roots vs trying to lather it all over my hair if washing back standing up. No need for condition, hair feels great! This will be my go to shampoo! Great!

I used this shampoo for a month & loved it. Ordered a second bottle. I don't know of the formula changed, but my hair fell out in clumps the size of ping-pong balls. My hairdresser also noted bald patches & that a bunch of my hair & had just broken off. Along with bald patches where she could see small hairs trying to grow back in around my temples & the back of my head. My hair also completely stopped growing. In the 10 weeks between my haircuts, my hair literally did not grow at all! Normally I go 8 weeks between cuts because my hair always grows inches in a short time. But this shampoo completely destroyed my hair!!!! At first I thought it was a medical condition, but then I started alternating in a different shampoo every few days. And on the days where I eliminated this Volume shampoo, I had no hair break off or fall out in the shower besides maybe a strand or two, normal. I don't chemically treat my hair, & let it air dry--I have zero damage from styling, heat, etc. It's long, thick, & very healthy/shiny...or it *was*..... Now I'm using a hair loss regiment to restore my once perfectly healthy hair. And I'm throwing this poison in the trash!

This product has been a game changer! The scent is light and clean, you need just a touch of shampoo, a little goes a long long way!! I now get 2-3 days before doing my hair. that has never happened before, wish I'd found this years ago!
