Deep Rootrainers Kit - Seed and Cutting Propagation Kit (32 Cell, 5 inches deep)

The item is exactly as described. As a Master Gardener, I appreciate the small space and deep roots this product provides. I have planted 24 azalea cuttings and 8 gardenia cuttings and expect news roots within 4-8 weeks.

Design is good for seedlings to grow deep, long roots. Easy to assemble & open for transplant. Came with clear plastic cover but no bottom tray. Cover can be used for bottom tray if needed. If used with care, can be reused again.

Excellent, especially that you don’t have to tug seedlings out but can open up the trays so that they come out neatly.

Very gently assembled them because the plastic is tissue-thin and brittle. Sweet pea seeds grew beautifully- great concept, garbage product. Several of the insets cracked & split as I gently opened then to plant the seedlings. More cracked as I closed them to pot up the next succession of pre-sprouted seeds.

The clear dome cover arrived with a crack in the corner of it.

This item is so unusual and innovated. The idea that I can just open each section and lift out the new plant without disturbing the baby roots is outstanding.

I like them but wish I could find deeper ones.

I bought these to start my sweet peas in under lights this winter. Looks like they will work nicely.
