It pops fine in isolation, a lot of problems occur with combining it moisture and heat, this makes binding it into your cake a little tricky, but it will sit on stiff icing well enough without deforming.I've tried it on large doughnuts, and I've had people tell me they hardly notice the pop, I suspect it works best on a thin product in quite large volumes as to ensure the effect is achieved.

Nothing to dislike, arrived quickly, great quality so just what I wanted.

Bought this to put between the layers of my granddaughter’s birthday cake as a surprise for everyone who took their first bite, it didn’t really make the impression I was hoping! Feel I shouldn’t of bothered and saved my money.Probably be more effective if sprinkled on top of a dessert

This product doesn't work, the popping candy doesn't pop and package appears badly sealed and product is slightly damp.

Unfortunately it’s not great. Waste money. It’s in the name ‘popping’ candy but no popping in the mouth
