For Embroidery, what an improvement!
Very good quality. Nice and sharp. I “upgraded” from supposed quality thread scissors for embroidery to these. What a difference surgical scissors make. Always open, easy to use, and cut fine threads along the entire length, especially at the tip.

Much Better Than Expensive Quilter’s Snips
I am a nurse and know first hand how sturdy surgical instruments are. This is frequently not true of some sewing tools. The snips quilters use are formatted from these snips. I was pleasantly surprised to find the real thing cheaper than the high priced quilter’s version. These snips are sturdy and work well to snip threads as you sew on your sewing machine or hand sew. They will not work well for other chores of sewing and were never meant to be used for anything but snipping thread or for fine surgical procedures. An excellent buy!

High Quality, Sharp Scissors
I use these to remove tag moles (skin tags) on myself. To minimize pain, having very sharp scissors is key and these are definitely the scissors for the job. Plus, they are lightweight and easy to use.

quality. One good one not good
I ordered two. One was mis-aligned and would not cut thread. I bought them to cut thread. One paid was great!

Cut-ability is fantastic
The "rebound" flex from the metal tensioner is comfortable and the curve is of a good shape. But the best feature is the cutting capabilities - it's extremely precise - meaning: Zero gap between blades, cuts whether using 1/32" or the full length of these scissors. Blade size comparison: The cutting surface length is about the length from the tip of your pinky to the first bendy :) the width of each blad is about the width of half your pinky nail. idk why I'm using the pinky ....lol

These things are sharp!
I bought these scissors to surgically alter flowers for cross-breeding plants and they are perfect! They are nicely made, sharp to the tips, and easily controllable, especially with the spring-loaded handles. As long as I don't cut the wrong thing, they should last a long, long time time.

Didn't cut well at all
I'll start with the pros: It was very easy to use. The way it works makes it easy to use one-handed, even with your non-dominant hand. Also, the tips are very sharp. Now for the cons, which make the pros meaningless: They didn't cut well at all. I'll admit that I don't know if they're all like that, or maybe I just got a bad pair. But I got them to cut off skin tags. It just pinched them and caused them to bleed. Didn't cut them at all. It's a good thing I used Aspercreme with Lidocaine first to help with the pain. I ended up having to use a pair of curved cuticle scissors I had to finish the job. For one of the bigger ones (which wasn't that big), I ended up having to just pull it the rest of the way off. Nobody cares if they're easy to use if they don't cut anything. Would I recommend these scissors? Based on my experience, absolutely not.
