GRIDMANN Stainless Steel Table 30 in. x 24 in., NSF Commercial Kitchen Prep & Work Table w/Backsplash and Wheels

I love my Gridmann work stations. We now have four! This latest is for the garage to house my dehydrator when in use. I wanted something I knew wasn't flammable just in case. Everything went together smoothly. Taking off the film is a pain but im getting really good at it now. One small corner needed a tap with the rubber mallet to straighten but otherwise in flawless shape. Rolls smoothly and the locks engage and keep the table steady. Bonus, its a great size to use as a potting table when the dehydrator is packed away for the season!

This is a great prep table. We are tall people (5’6” female and 6’4” male) and we wanted a stainless steel prep table that could be used comfortably without bending. With the casters on this table is very comfortable for both of us. Sorry we’re still organizing so it’s full of stuff at the moment but we empty the top often and roll it over to use in front of the range and countertop often. The stuff on the bottom stays put and the table easily rolls even with that extra weight. Once I position it in the middle of the kitchen (so I have prep space on both sides) I lock the casters so it won’t roll away. The casters lock and unlock easily. This table feels like it is made with high quality materials. There was only one tiny blemish on the top when we received it (no damage to shipping box though). It seems like a manufacturing boo-boo wherein: one of the 6 pre-mounted screws on the underside of the table top got snapped off with enough force to bend the metal top it’s welded/connected to. The other screws with cover nuts attached were fine and the sheared off screw was inside the box inside it’s cover nut. The legs stay on just fine even without that screw - and though the divot is noticeable, it is smooth and not in danger of becoming a hole. We like the small back splash part which prevents items from sliding off the back of the table. They also make models without it. Overall we are very happy with this purchase. We recommend this item.

A great, strong working table. There was a slight 3" scratch on the front right corner of the table but you cab barely see it. I purchased mine to be an outside prep table next to my BBQ. It's perfect!

I bought this to be a moveable "island" in my kitchen. It was bigger than I wanted, but I knew that when I purchased it, and a size down just wasn't going to cut it. Easy to assemble for most people, took us a bit due to our age and limitations - but it was still simple. So beautiful, so functional, so happy we got it. Had 1 small issue that I needed to contact the seller about, expecting to hear back on a Monday or Tuesday since I sent it Friday night - nope - ON Saturday they made my day - they helped me, and there you go - GREAT customer service. Considering another, just have to talk the hubby into it. Perfect for rolling my dough, making my extracts, setting up my dehydrating trays - and sooooo easy to clean.

Very tough with excellent wheels. Easy assembly

I'd return the thing if I could but by the time we realized it was trash, there was no way to take it apart and get it back in the box. You have to box up the whole thing to return to the seller, and I have no idea how big the box would need to be to get it back once it's partly assembled. The assembly design is terrible. You have to twist two pieces of leg together as hard as you can to make them bulge where the wheel is inserted and then the wheels are nearly impossible to get jammed up into the tight hole. If you don't turn hard enough the wheels don't stay. If you turn more, the wheels are stuck in for life. As it is, we had to disassemble wheels to get a flat surface for a mallet to be able to pound them in but once we got them all in and flipped the table over one leg was probably about 1/2" shorter than the other three. There's no way to adjust the height of the legs with the wheels on and no way to get the wheels off once they are pushed in. The table is obviously very unstable so I'll have to put a block under the short leg and somehow lock the wheel in place.

The tables arrived promptly and without damage. Table assembly was straight forward and Grdman was king enough to include an Allen Wrench which is the only tool required. The castor design is top shelf, two castors have locks and two are free to spin. The best part is the castor design which allows you to adjust the diameter of the castor insert that slides into the table leg by turning a knurled retainer on the caster itself to ensure that it fits snugly in the table leg. The tables I purchased are professional grade and cost less than used ones would have cost on CL. I use them for the preparation and support activities for BBQ'ing. and other food preparation activities where stainless makes cleanup a snap.

The packaging was excellent, intact and no signs of “trauma”. The product has multiple Places of damage, plastic shrink wrap peeled on all sides. The back and side edges of the backsplash were unfinished and extremely sharp. You can see the dimples of the rivets through the top table area. I contacted the third party seller who offered to give me a whopping $40.00 if so would keep it. I told her I wanted them to see the numerous pics of damage before I gave them an answer. They would not budge. Since I am only using it as a rolling kitchen island in my home, I kept it. My husband used his grinder to fix the dangerous sharp edges. To be fair, this damage was done at the manufacturing site prior to packaging. Ans, whoever damaged it had to know they were shipping a less than desirable product. The third party seller was not responsible for causing the damage.
