Great fit compared to the Coldwork Originals
Much better fit than the Coldwork Originals. I tried both the large and extra large in the originals and neither glove fit well. These gloves did great in all the places the others fell short. A word on the intended purpose of these gloves... These are for working on your car, in your unheated garage, in the winter time. These are not snow shoveling gloves. They're not snowmobiling gloves. They're not designed to get wet or protect you from frigid temperatures. It's a matter of physics. The more protection you need from the cold, the more insulation the glove requires. But more insulation means more volume, which means you're not going to be able to start a small bolt by hand, or thread a nut blindly onto a bolt you can't see. That's what these gloves were designed for. I feel like with that in mind, these gloves are a perfect tradeoff between dexterity and mobility, and cold protection. 3m Thinsulate is designed to trap the warm air that your body produces, so they're literally built to be worked in. If you're just sitting outside watching it snow, your hands will likely get cold pretty quick. If you're up all night, every night over your Christmas break, working under halogen work lights, and smoking cigarettes by the salamander to warm your bones, all just trying to get your truck back together before you have to go back to work, these gloves are excellent.

They are warm.
I like these gloves. I wish they would show the inside of all their gloves like this so we can see what material is in there before we buy. This material seems to be warm. I had them on this morning walking in to work and the weather app says it feels like 12 degrees with the wind chill. My hands stayed warm for the 6 minute walk but I'm sure they would stay warm for a while. I like how I still have some dexterity to retrieve my keys and operate my key fob. The grip is still slightly a little slick but not like wearing straight cotton gloves but not as good as straight leather gloves. I believe they would be great for working out doors in the cold, not sure about in the wet though. UPDATE: They are warm but not as warm as I thought. The wind still hits the outside and transfers into the glove if it is really cold (32 deg and below). Have not had them in the snow yet.

Solid
Not bad. Definitely warmer than some thin to win gloves. However, as soon as your hands sweat the inner liner wants to pull out when you take them off, and grab and make it difficult to put them back on. I machine washed and dried and they are still in great shape, so durability is solid. I’d buy again.

Great garage glove.
I’m not sure why “some people” hate on these gloves. They are not a heavy duty work/mechanic glove. If used for that purpose then yes they’ll fail quickly. They’re not an extreme cold weather glove. They’re rated for 40*. They’re not advertised as being waterproof. Only wind resistant. What these gloves are great for is light garage work or driving/forklift warehouse work. Year after year I keep buying these FastFit gloves because the sizing and build quality are very consistent and good. I have no problem using them with my phone or other touchscreens. The dexterity is great. Cold afternoons/evenings in the garage are much more enjoyable with these gloves. I wear a medium. I typically use them for working on my old VW beetle, oil changes, engine work, drinking cold snacks with your buds in the garage, etc. Typically a pair will last about 6 months before the finger tips start wearing through. At $16 you won’t find a better glove for the price!

I thought i was getting a good pair of cold weather work gloves. They suck as work gloves and they suck at protecting against the cold

Winter gloves not very rugged
Very warm and comfortable. Was expecting more grip in the palm. They are more for warmth than for workwear in my opinion.

Small, very short, non-cold non-work gloves.
The sizing is not for Europeans/Americans, and even the largest sizes are very small. The glove is ridiculously short for its stated purpose, barely even passing the wrist, so cold air is not kept out of the glove at all. The material is light weight and thin, with almost no insulation, and virtually no protection against anything and it's not a work glove in any way. It's totally useless as a cold weather glove, and as a work glove, and doubly useless as a cold weather work glove.

Good fit
I needed warm durable warm gloves and I saw Mechanixx were durable bc they're task purposed gloves. Outdoors work or some military. I do neither but still needed the durability. I was happy to see the had a Warm version. Mine came in earlier and they feel just right, size wise, ad I don't like oversized gloves. Oversized are hampering. I went out on my motorcycle and up to 100km p/h they kept me warm. The temperature today was 3° and wet. So a well deserved 5 star. Shipping was real fast.

Mechanix coldwork fastfit
Good gloves. They aren't the warmest, but they are warm enough for me and allow me to leave my gloves on for most tasks and are quite durable. I have the covert tactical gloves as well for hiking and air soft and get on well with them so tried these and aren't disappointed
