Pocket Beard Brush (Stiff)

I am a woman who bought this for her hair. I understand that this is labeled as a "beard brush" but that's just the manufacturer pigeon-holing their product. Why did I want this tiny brush for my thick, wavy locks, you men might ask? Well... it's because I have a full size boars hair hair brush, but it is simply much too big for backpacking-camping. When every ounce of weight matters, and space inside my backpack is limited to what I absolutely NEED, it was imperative that I find a brush that is small and nearly weightless. This particular brush is great for you guys, as it will fit in your jeans pocket without you realizing the weight of it being there. For me, I throw it in my toiletries bag and I'm good to go! In the palm of my tiny woman hands, this brush works perfect. It fits across the width of my hand. That being said, for those of you with bigger hands than me the brush might seem smaller when using it, but that's kind of the point of this pocket brush. What I also like was that the brush is wide. I saw a few other beard brushes that were round, and I figured it would take forever to brush my hair with those. Since this allows you to brush more of your hair in fewer strokes, you can tidy up your beard hair in 1, 2 (maybe 3) and be done. This comes in great for me, as the more I brush my hair, the more hairs that will fall out of the follicle. One thing I noticed about this brush is that the bristles are a lot more firm than my regular hair brush. That will probably come in handy for thick beard hair. For me, I don't know that it is con just yet, but the brush still gets the job done. Overall, I encourage anyone to buy this product. Whether it's a man looking for a good beard brush or a girl who doesn't want to carry around a full-size hairbrush. This could be great in the car to smooth out your hair after having the windows down. Heaven knows I do that and my hair comes out looking like a rat's nest. I may even get an extra for my gym bag! Great product! Can't wait to use it on the trails... or elsewhere.

This brush had a lot of great reviews when I ordered it, and I do believe it has lived up to the expectation. This was my first beard brush, and I expected it to be a bit larger. The small size is convenient for tucking away in a backpack, desk drawer, it could easily fit into my pants pocket, however it might not be practical or comfortable. The bristles are stiff enough to brush a thick beard, but not so stuff that it is uncomfortable on the skin.

This is a great brush. It’s convenient to put into pocket. I intended to use it for my head without taking too much pocket space like a full handle brush. Its stiffness is comparable to the WavEnforcer brush I got from the supermarket. It’s the stiffness I was looking for uncompared to the similar pocket brush product I ordered before this one from a different brand. This Zilberhaar brush is what I would call a true “stiff” brush. The photo I have with another brush came from a beauty store. It along with the Amazon product from the other brand I would both classify as “medium” stiffness.

I’ve been using the ZilberHaar Pocket Beard Brush for a few weeks, and it’s a fantastic little tool. The stiff boar bristles handle my beard really well, keeping it neat and itch-free. It’s the perfect size for travel—I toss it in my bag, and it’s good to go. My only gripe is cleaning it; the bristles tend to trap hair, and getting it all out takes more effort than I’d like. Still, the quality and convenience make it worth it. If you’re looking for a compact, effective beard brush, this one’s a winner.

I am a woman and I bought this as a travel brush to smooth out my hair after I apply water or gel after getting it in a bun or a ponytail. I love that the brushes are stiff because it feels like a massage but is not painful. It is tinier than I thought but does the job. Only a few bristles have fallen out in the one month that I have had it, which is not much. I was initially put off by the cost but I think it's worth it. I have the soft bristles too which feels just as good on the hair but doesn't "scratch" the scalp-- which is the feeling I like. I think it's a great brush for getting flyaway hair back in place and for polishing up throughout the day. It's the perfect size for traveling and is a low maintenance product. It makes for a great gift and the packaging looks worthy of gifting-- nothing about it looks cheap, etc. I hope to use it for the next few years, and I'll update my review in 6 months to see how it's holding up.

While it appears to be a quality brush, it is being falsely advertised as made in Germany, and it is now made in Europe. The one in the photo is different from what you will get. In my opinion, this adverting needs to be corrected. Here’s what you will receive. Is it authentic? It seems good, but they are taking advantage of the German quality claims at the time of sale but delivering you a different product with different markings. Not cool… probably a high quality item nonetheless, but why would you risk the reputation… I still want to really like this product and buy more if it’s good, but this kind of thing sours the relationship from the start.

This was such a great buy! Its compact so you can pack it wherever you need to go and is made very well. would recommend this brand to anyone - but if you do have a large beard might not be the best choice for you as its size is compact and meant for either travel or smaller facial hair features. Helps to keep the hair soft and in form.
