Really Impressed with These - Solid
Marley the Escape Artist - Finally Contained!!! This review is of all the products with links from Amazon I used with a mini review of each item. Our newest dog Marley is the first dog we have had in 30+ years that won't stay in the yard. She learned to jump the fence where it was low the first week. We installed a "roller" system using PVC pipes that prevented her from jumping there. We tried an in ground invisible fence but that did not slow her down since she went over the fence quickly and once away from the wire she was fine. Luckily she always ran around the house to the front door where we just let her back in... As a result when we are gone during the day she spends 8+ hours in a dog crate inside while our other dog Cedar is laying about in the shade enjoying the day. We didn't want to but finally decided to install a hot wire at the top of the fence. We considered doing more of the PVC roller but it was expensive and looks awful. I installed the hot wire yesterday. She was shocked twice after I finished and has not attempted to get out since. Now we just have to figure out a way to stop them both from digging. I am afraid they are going to kill some of the trees they have dug so deeply. CINVEI 2-Mile Electric Fence Energizer - https://a.co/d/40ITqcv Nice simple fully waterproof outdoor fence energizer. It has a very quiet but audible click you can hear when the fence is working as well as the fence OK light. The charger I assume is pulsing the current which is what makes the clicking. It came with the needed mounting hardware. This picture is right after I finished. Will wait a few weeks to see if all is fine before cleaning up and making it look neater. 2 Pack 250 ft 17 Gauge Aluminum Electric Fence Wire - https://a.co/d/0GORlhk This fence wire was super easy to work with. I have galvanized fence wire I use for projects around the house and I am always afraid it is going to spring back at me. This wire came off the spool without kinking and I was able to pull it more than tight enough for the hot wire. Testing the fence I had the same voltage at the end of the fence as at the beginning. I was worried 17 gauge would not carry the charge to the end but it was not an issue. Kanayu Electric Fence Wire Double Insulated Underground Hard Cable - https://a.co/d/6wTVKSl This is the wire that runs from the fence charger to the ground rod and the hot wire. I ran it under the eve of the house rather than trying to bury it in the yard. It was easy to work with and did not kink while I was stretching it out. Insulators for Electric Fence Wire - https://a.co/d/aoxha0M These clipped to the chain link portion of the fence to keep the wire from grounding out against the fence. Will see how these do long term as they did seem to stretch a bit while installing. Dare Products 3359-10 831950 Tube Post Insulator - https://a.co/d/aptpwIe I am very impressed with these post insulators. The mount holds very tight. I was concerned the plastic/nylon would pull out before they got tight. They worked great. Very impressed. Circular Ring Corner Post Insulators - https://a.co/d/5dQRLmo I used these at fence corners as well as along the wall from the charger to make turns and keep the insulated cable tight on the runs to the hot wire. In the corners I used galvanized fence wire to go through the insulator and wired it to the post leaving enough slack in the wire to run the aluminum hot wire around the outside of the bobbin. On the house I used a wood screw and a washer through the center and wrapped the wire around the outside.

Great idea
These worked great to use on the inside of my horse round pen, to run a hot wire around the top... Had a new horse, who was trying to jump out

Work well and easy to install
buy these if you need to use electric fence on pipe corral. I got 6 bags to do 3 strands on my pipe corral to keep my horse from cribbing. They all came complete and fitted together perfectly, easy to install. Im guessing that the knock off versions have problems shown in some reviews. Dare electric fence products have all been reliable and worked well for all my prior electric fence needs.

Good product
I just installed these insulators on my chain link fence along with another insulator product for the chain link fence itself. I will discuss the Post Insulator. I found this product works nicely on the post of chain link fences. However, I modify slightly. For example, I put a small piece of rubber between the post and insulator to keep a firm grip when I made my connection and screwed them together. I also added a split washer to it as well for a firm fit. On a couple of insulators, I needed to drill out the hole a little larger for the medal bracket to fit. Easy to do this. This week I will work to energize the fence. I am using this product to keep out racoons from my chicken lot. I am placing them at the top of the chain link fence and other various locations. At this point I would recommend the product however I will need to monitor under weather conditions over time to see how long they last in the outdoors.

Alternative use
Saw a post where someone used these for standoffs for antenna coax cable so I decided to try it. I previously tried cable zip ties but the sun would eventually cause them to crack and fail. Mounted a wireless access point to my 25โ television antenna pole and used these to hold the outdoor CAT 6 cable down the pole. They mount securely to the pole and the cable fits perfectly. Keeps the cable about 4โ off the pole. Also worked well for the antenna RG6 cable.

Works perfect
These work perfect. I bought some a few years ago and they held up for years. Easy to install. Bought more when our yard got bigger, will buy again if needed.

Best Option For Chainlink Fence Post Mounting
I've tried all the chain link options out there and these are hands down the best. They mount up easy, but are extremely sturdy. They are also incredibly durable. My first set is still running strong after over 5 years in the brutal Oklahoma sun. I've replaced every other component of my electric fence twice while these things have not needed so much as a tightening of the u clamp. I wish they made one sized for corner posts, other than that it simply does not get any better than these bad boys.

Perfect to keep my horse off the fence
One of my turn out pens runs along the side of the welded pipe riding arena. Thats fine .... except my fat horse loves to rub his big butt on the pipe fence. He has broken a number of welds loose. But finally I discovered these insulators. We added them to the fence and I turned him into the pen this morning. He quickly trotted to the fence ready to enjoy his morning scratching.....so I turned on the electric fence and he got off those pipes in a hurry. In about ten minutes he tried the fence again. I mean he loves scratching....he got shocked again. Hopefully he won't find anything else to rub on !!!

broken post insulator
Had some kind of animal trying to breach my fence, the wire didn't break but the tube post insulator broke. Otherwise decent quality.
