Are the trays glazed? i.e. will the water leak through the tray since it’s made of a porous material.

The trays are not glazed. I've had the water absorb into the clay on the pot, that you can see on the outside, but i haven't had any leaks. I put a plastic tray under each one, just as I always do.

Should my pot be changing color when I water my plants?

The pots will absorb some of the water when watering the plant and get darker, but it will return to an even color when it dries out.

Are these heavy enough to survive the wind?

These aren't super heavy, but with the plant and the dirt, it should survive a decent amount of wind. These aren't light like plastic, but they are lighter than some of my other terracotta pots.

Can they nest when not in use?

Absolutely !!!! These are wonderful and one of the BEST products ever for indoor gardening.
