FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest

This is the best ice vest I have tried, with a few notes: 1) I hate the heat and overheat very easily, although I sweat from the neck and above rather than below. I wore the vest (black) on a 90-degree day to take a 1-mile walk to a doctor appointment. I was in the shade half the time. I was kept cool and was very happy, but when I arrived at my appointment and took off the vest, my torso was covered in sweat with a capital "C." Removing my clothes and toweling off only helped somewhat; I was still sweat-covered for my exam. Then, 40 minutes after arriving at the appointment, I tried to put the vest on for the walk home, and found that all the ice was melted. LESSON LEARNED: Don't plan to be too far from the extra set of frozen ice if you want to be outside for longer, and don't head for anyplace where you want to look nice. BUT...I will buy the beige version to see if it deflects heat and keeps cooler longer. Perhaps black was not the best idea.

The product is the same as advertised, but the ice packs are not the same as advertised it melts down the ice so fast.

I like this vest a lot for hot summer days at the barn. It enables me to be outside 2 hours longer than I would normally be able to in the summer heat. For me, the ice stays frozen for only about an hour. I do have an extra set of ice packs to switch out when the first set gets to body temperature. It is a bit bulky and heavier than I thought but, If you are heat intolerant at all, it's totally worth the effort! This is a nice product!

Durable,easy to use and perfect for keeping cool during hot desert summers during or after workouts. Also for me helps cool me down during horrible hot flashes. I highly recommend these vests.

Look for "FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest Replacement Panels”. **** If THAT paragraph is accurate, then would not the term, "Look for "FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest Replacement Panels” indicate to the reader that it included ice panels to begin with, if they are using the term “Replacement Panels”?? It did to me. Serves me right for not reading all the reviews. But you take some things on faith. That if it’s a "FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest (Blue Velcro)” that it would come with the icepacks. Otherwise, why not just call it a vest instead of “Ice Vest”? Currently debating if I am sending it back or not. The material is solid and looks like it will hold up underneath a flight suit in high heat/humidity.
