Product failure
Product used for young chicks. Product failure, floor wire came loose and chicks fell to floor. No longer the great product it used to be.

Decent Hutch
This hutch was super easy to put together. It's a large hutch and seems to be somewhat sturdy. My only complaint would be the price as it is pretty high for the quality of wood that you get. I chose this hutch specifically because I don't like the dual levels with the ramps and it has proven difficult to find a large standard style hutch like this one. You could probably use this for multiple small rabbits. The wire is too small for large breeds, so cleaning might be more of a hassel. I got it to house my buck in the winter and baby rabbits in the spring. The divider will be perfect for separating males from females at weaning.Update: I have tested it out with the divider in it and it works great!

Critical Flaws
In brief: the side pieces (and front piece) had no way to support the floor. (I suspect these was error in manufacture, cannot believe this is as intended.) Required adding additional screws (not provided) to screw the floor to the frame, otherwise the floor just falls into tray -- or without the tray -- to the ground. Construction flimsy, hinges for screws too fragile, useless to support the lid. Suspect whole thing won't last 6 months. Beware. Not worth the cost. I would have returned if I could have unassembled and gotten it back in the box.

Even better in person.
Saw the UPS guy drop this right on the ground out of the door of his truck, right onto a corner of the box, and everything was still in pristine condition upon opening and unpacking. Whew! I'm not a fan of Amazon shipping items in the original packaging but it worked out just fine in this instance.First off, I compared a LOT of different hutch ideas for our two rabbits (who happen to be male and female). The double-decker hutch ideas seemed impractical, because I didn't want to have to remember to empty a tray every day. I also didn't like the idea of one of them being down so low to the ground. For the price, this is the best hutch on the market.I'm totally pleased with this purchase. I put it together in one night and everything went on without a hitch. To me, the final product actually looks bigger and allows for more room than what I was anticipating when I purchased it, so that's always a plus. With this hutch, I don't use the bottom tray unless the weather gets cold, and I periodically move the hutch around the yard so it all gets fertilized. I can't move it myself, but that's not a concern. My buns haven't chewed it yet - there really aren't too many points of contact where rabbit meets wood so that's great. For protection from the elements, I also ordered one of these for each side Ware Manufacturing Bunny and Rabbit Den and they fit perfectly.I really do love this hutch. The top of very heavy-duty and the overhang is just enough to protect the bunnies from the rain or sun. I've had this now for just two months or so but I expect it's going to last a really long time. I also purchased these Pawhut 47" Wooden Outdoor Rabbit Hutch Run - White for the buns to play in during the day when I'm at work.Happy hutch hunting!

Decent Hutch
Considering how well this hutch has served me and my bunnies I should be more forgiving, but I can't forget how difficult it was to put this thing together. The initial construction (as in the screws and panels needed) are a cinch-you don't need power tools or anything-but it's the little things that drove me mad. The metal tray would not fit into the slot compartment unless I actually loosened the back panel, which therefore made the divider loose. The whole point of this hutch is the divider (note: I have an un-neutered male and a girl, so you can guess why) so this drove me nuts! My advice is to test the tray before attaching the back and front panels to the sides. Either that, or invest in some quality zip ties like I did. Also, the metal of the tray and the divider holder is rather flimsy. The divider got pulled free of the metal before I installed the zip ties since my bunnies were pushing on it. Thankfully it got stuck behind a water bottle! Again, re-enforce that divider with zip ties or fit it. Also, the tray bent when enough poop built up... yikes for my downstairs neighbors! Also, I imagine that someone who doesn't know about bunnies will have a real mess on their hands when/if they put two boys side by side. The divider is made of strong mesh, but a rabbit can and will bite through it to antagonize their neighbor. Keep that in mind if you plan on keeping two males.Other than that, I can safely say this hutch looks adorable and does its job well. You should be prepared to make adjustments and possibly buy a new tray, divider, and zip ties for safety reasons, but it can certainly work.

but am very disappointed. All the materials are much flimsier
I used to have this exact hutch, which was very high quality. I re-ordered this hutch expecting the same quality item, but am very disappointed. All the materials are much flimsier, and it looks very cheaply made. The top of the hutch isn't even solid wood as the picture shows (which is what my previous version of this hutch had). Now the top has roofing paper glued to the top, and looks very bad along the back edge. So disappointed.

Poor quality of materials and manufacturing
The product is made with poor quality wood and is manufactured with little care for quality. Parts that were either split when they screwed them together or dropped along the process.
