We use this tape for a lot of applications once applied it tends to stay and stay on for a long time even when it gets wet. When removed it tends not to leave a tacky residue after removal. I've used it for taping down UT Heating on Snake and reptile cages. Kids use it to as book binding backing... when they make home made books. monkey bars at the local play ground. PVC piping too.

Have found Gaffer Power to be the best manufacturer of brands I've tried. Holds up very well over time. We do 4 community events a year so everything sits unused for months and we can rely on this tape to perform regardless of how long it's been sitting. We use it for a wide variety of needs including taping signs to vehicles in the parade, laminated signs to tables, wrapping extension cords, taping down cords, holding signs on signboards, etc.

I am a retired pro photographer, this is one of the very rare REAL Gaffer tape's being sold on Amazon. Unlike the generic stuff that has a paper backing, tears super easily, and has terrible glue, the Gaffer Power is strong, has good glue, and a real fiber backing; this stuff works. . Works great for everything from framing hinges to taping modifiers on lights to general home improvement projects where you don't want residue from duct-tape but need more hold than painters tape.

This tape exceeds my expectations at both being tape and glowing. It's a very robust fabric tape with a grippy, matte surface. It sticks very strongly, yet removes without leaving residue and did not harm the wooden surface I applied it to (though we'll see if this remains true over the long term). The glow is initially very bright when it's been charged under a bright light for a few minutes. Almost too bright. But the super brightness fades to a more sedate level over the first 2-3 minutes, and then it maintains a low glow for many hours. I used the tape to mark the corners of furniture in my baby's room so I wouldn't stumble in the dark. It works perfectly for this purpose. In the dark room, the glow remains visible all through the night. I will definitely buy more Gaffer Power tapes for other purposes in the future.
