Lovely to use, gives a good quality finish and you can mix to get a wide range of glorious colours. You only need a small amount, so they are lasting really well and have given great value for money.

Excellent little set, just right for travelling around. Exactly what I was looking for as a gift. All the necessary colours included and room in the lid for mixing colours. Windsor and Newton and Cotman are established names I recognise from my student days so I was happy to purchase this set.

(This is a unfinished painting by the way so he’s a bit blue, and I didn’t use water colour paper also is my first time working with watercolour paints ) but these paints are so good and affordable they are very high quality and would be really good for people looking for a gift idea or someone going into GCSEs or college and artists that like to paint whilst out and about since their portable! They work really well and has a good pigment and selection of colours and the consistency is really nice so it WOULD give a professional look to it if only i got more stuff for it lol

Summary: Good watercolour paints, especially for beginners but the colours advertised on Amazon are not what you will get. Do not get your heart set on certain colours. Make sure to check the colours you get so if you decide to add to your set you won't accidentally have duplicates. I want to add this is not an Amazon issue, this appears to be on Winsor & Newton website too. Colours in advert: Lemon Yellow Hue, Cadmium Yellow Hue, Cadmium Red, Permanent Rose, Dioxazine Purple, Ultramarine, Cerulean Blue Hue, Viridian Hue, Sap Green, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Chinese White. I've had this palette for a while now, I've finally got to using the colours and they're great. A wonderful selection of colours what will push you to be more colourful with your painting and not rely on blacks to darken the colours. I will add the colour palette I received is a little subdued and less vibrant than I'd have liked in an ideal world but it's a good start! I have since bought additional half pans to add to the collection. WN Cotman watercolours are excellent for beginners. I hadn't touched watercolours for about 13 years and got this small travel set to dip my toes into watercolour again. Lots of fun, compact little case with a tiny travel brush. These are half-pan watercolours so each colour is about 1.9x1.6x1.1 cm.

This compact set has a great range of colours. They dissolve beautifully in water and a little goes a long way - so great value for money.

Really nice, neat box with W&N half pans. Good quality plastic - very sturdy. Great for travel or pocket. Contains a small brush also.

Very easy to use, flip the lid remove the individually wrapped paints, spray with water, wait and use, the colours are good, and look good when dry, they cover the page well, depending on the thickness of the pigment used, the case is sturdy and durable. Good for travel or home use.

A pesar de ser gama estudiantil, su desempeño está muy cerca del nivel profesional. Es muy fácil de usar y un poco rinde muchísimo, por lo que es ideal para practicar, aprender o trabajar en tus piezas artísticas con fiabilidad. Ottimi! Carichi di pigmento, i colori sono bellissimi e mescolandoli le possibilità sono veramente infinite. Chi dice che la confezione è piccolissima probabilmente non usa spesso acquerelli professionali. La confezione è effettivamente piccola, ma i colori drurano veramente tanto proprio perchè molto pigmentati. Io l'ho comprata circa 2 anni fa, e sto finendo solo ora alcuni dei colori. Ma se cercate una scatola di acquerelli par fare felice un bambino, allora forse non è l'acquisto giusto.
