Why doesn’t fit my dermal?

You probably need to change the “sleeve” size in the chuck. Both 1/8” and 1/4” are standards and readily available. Check the shaft diameter of the accessory compared to the size of the chuck sleeve. You should find a resolution there

I have a Dremel and am looking for a way to gently sand down/buff the edges of plastic models once all of their parts are cemented in place. Help?

I have used these for the same purpose and had good results. I do wish they had been a tad softer but overall, it’s a good product and will do the job. As an unsolicited reference, I have two “Taglife” dremel style tools that have become my “go-to” for any job where my Dremel would be used. I own two Taglife and two Dremel units and one is as good as the other. Lastly, Taglife has an excellent line of accessories that I highly recommend, including buffing wheels.

I'm buffing scratches from polymer/plastic and want the smoothest possible finish. So do I use cotton, wool, or stitched?

Soft but still abrasive

Very soft. Just make sure you test what you are buffing because even though they have a softness, they can still heat up a finish and melt it.
