I need to tape together my yacht that broke in half. Will Flex Tape work as a repair?

Yachts, sure. Frigates, no problem. Paper cups, that's pushing it. Battleships, well those are sunk, because science.

Can flex tape be trimmed to half the width and still be effective? i.e. can I cut the 4 inch wide tape to 2 inches wide and expect it to work?

I’m sure you can cut it in half though it’s tough to cut. The full width tape was not effective in repairing hose leaks for me.

I know that it stays in place well and holds! What is the best way to remove it? Is there some kind of adhesive remover that would work?

Good luck with that...I didn't like the stuff. The application was sloppy, didn't cover the seam in my rainboot, and I couldn't get it off.
