I keep finding new uses for these, so am ordering even more. Yes they are so sturdy & great for when I pot up seedlings and grow things indoors, or bottom water my plant starts that I have on the porch in summer waiting to be transplanted. Lately I'm realizing they are great for when you have deep shelves or high shelves and want to optimize storage and have easy access to all of your stuff. You can have a bunch of these and put stuff in them, like my zillions of seed packets in my grow room which now can all be tucked away on a high shelf, .... even my socks, underwear and shirts in my bedroom closet! You just slide out the tray when you want to better see what you've got. I feel like the pronounced outer edge makes it easier to slide them off the shelf. It's only fitting that a gardener should use 1020 trays in her bedroom closet too! :-)

These Bootstrap Farmer propagation seed starting trays compared to others purchased at a well known nursery is the same wt. and quality, at 2/3rd's the price, and then you save shipping from Amazon on top of it, if you're a Prime Member! I was so pleasantly surprised! These will last me the rest of my gardening life. I had some grid inserts from a Nursery, and they fit perfectly in these trays. I like it that they all match as the trays are black, and the insert grid inserts are black. Besides all these things, I ordered from Amazon, and got them in two days. Amazon saved the day, and came through for me again! And...you can't beat the Bootstrap Farmer! Besides all that, ordering off the Amazon website is made so easy, where in other websites it's not easy to be sure what you're ordering. Order these, you won't be sorry. They are so rigid that you'll never dump your precious seed starts, as you're watering them.

These trays are not the garbage trays you get from HD and Lowe’s, these are a good thick plastic that you can pick up and move around without worrying about all your seedlings ending up on the ground. I know these seem expensive but after factoring in that you’ll be able to use them for years I think it’s worth it.

These trays are amazing. Stop buying the cheep flimsy things. These are so durable, you can hold the end of them with the tray full of plants and they won't bend. These are well worth the cost, you will get many years of use.I will be going back for other products from this company.

I was impressed with the quality of these trays. They were much better than I anticipated….I would rather pay more for something that is going to last. When you buy cheap, you buy twice, as the saying goes. These were an unexpected joy for my newest hobby. Thanks so much.

Best decision you will make for your sanity, ease of cleaning and reusability. Customers at juice bar will not break and shred trays like they use to. Cleaning trays becomes easier and bottom watering does not shred the edges of cheap and wasteful plastic. These trays will last!

The media could not be loaded.  Very sturdy 1020 seed tray! Absolutely love how it's BPA free and not super flimsy like most other seed trays. I can load this up with watered plants and not have to worry about it shifting on me or breaking. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for some BPA free and amazing seed trays.

It is a bit more expensive than I'd prefer, but these are very sturdy and so much better than the thin flimsy ones.

These are very heavy quality! Very strong. I have used them for two years and they’ll last me the rest of my gardening years. These are beautifully strong with a bit of softer plastic in them to make them ‘give’ or flex a little. They are expensive compared to the store bought ones, yes, but if you have to replace the cheap ones every year or two at best, then you have wasted your money. There is a huge difference between these and the cheap trays you can buy anywhere (that are brittle and flimsy and break easily). You pay for quality, here, and you get quality here. Hands down, I DO recommend these!

They are strong and sturdy trays but arrived damaged. Corners were broken off during shipping due to insufficient packaging . Will keep the trays as it does not affect the rest of the trays and I am using them already. Be aware that they could arrive damaged. But they are great for germinating seeds.

Received my trays today 3 days early so amazing shipping. The trays are exactly as expected, strong and sturdy and should last a long time. These trays are the most sturdy and resilient trays I have had for my seed starting needs. They are heavier than usual but that is because they are much more solid and unlikely to crack or bend. Excellent product - I'll be using these for years.

Way better than the cheaper ones sold at the big box stores. You can lift your seedling tray with one hand because of how strong they are. Highly recommend if you grow your own seedlings each year, I will have these for many years so the cost per year will decrease with each usage.
