CATTONGUE GRIPS 26 Pre-Cut Grip Tape Strips, Non-Slip Grip Kit, Clear

These are wonderful little grip strips to add to a surface or an object that seemingly tries to squirm out of your hand. I put some on my hydroflask® bottle. The powder coat and my dry hands combined made it a bit hard to maintain a grip. These solved that problem. They have a pleasant grippiness; not sandpaper harsh, not sticky, but just right. The nubs are a nice tactile feel as well. The adhesive is not very robust, and the thick pads don't follow curves or angles very well, so unless it is a flat surface, or one without compound curves, the pads will seperate from the object, and ultimately losing adhesion. But that intrinsic shortcoming for me is a problem I can easily work with. I bought two sheets, and between my and my wife in a month they are all almost gone. Time for more!

UPDATE 2026 - 05-29: It has now been 1.5 years since I purchased these; purchased Dec. 2024. The original CatTongue pads I applied to the exterior of my Apple iPad M4 Magic Keyboard Case, are STILL there and STILL working perfectly fine. After 1.5 YEARS. IDC who you are; that is freakin' AMAZING!!! These pads are great! I recently emailed the company asking if they made double thickness pads as they would come in handy for a specific application I have in mind and they replied very promptly and politely, 10/10 customer service and products!! UPDATE - 2025 - 06-05: IDK how they do it, but these things are still perfect after several months of daily, heavy. I use my iPad CONSTANTLY; all day at work for so many things, then at home all night for reading, movies, etc. I use the heck out of my iPad. Again; I am careful with my stuff, but still; this thing is in & out of my bag ~6-10 times per day. I imagined that simply moving the iPad in & out of my bag alone would be enough to screw up these pads / stickers to some extent, but NOPE; they are still PERFECT! Perfectly adhered how & where I originally installed them; they are still nice & clean & good looking....just awesome. No peeling / lifting up whatsoever. Excellent product overall. Love 'em! ************** Excellent grips. Works exactly as advertised, DURABLE AF. I bought them because I put a skin on the outside of my iPad White Magic Keyboard & it was VERY slippery, much to my dismay. However these Cat Tongue Grip Pads are a perfect solution. These adhere perfectly to the keyboard skin, despite it being slick to the touch - textured, but slippery. I am very careful with my gear, esp a $2000++ brand new iPad / keyboard combo, but still; stuff wears with use. Not these grips!! They still look and feel good as new. They also act as “feet” for my Magic Keyboard, so that when I put it down on any surface - no matter how dirty - it keeps my keyboard physically up off of the gunk & much cleaner. Haven’t yet figured out where to put the rest of them but I’m sure I will. Really like these. They are also quite tacky / grippy. Again; very nice.

They stick very well, a good variety of sizes

I purchased this product to improve the side grip on an iPhone case which I liked except for that characteristic. The phone case is metal and very slippery on the sides. Cattongue worked as I hoped. Excellent adhesion to the metal, the case is no longer slippery and the variety of Cattongue shapes provided made it easy to find the size needed. I highly recommend this product.

I bought these to add to an otterbox phone case that inexplicably was designed with the silicone boot on the inside of a slick plastic case instead of the other way around like they've always been in the past. I've always depended on the friction grip of the case, but couldn't do that anymore. These work great for all the large flat areas, but the ones I put on the curved edges started to peel away by the next morning, I solved this temporarily by trimming them down to a single row of squares to provide an edge grip that didn't wrap around the curve. It worked great for about two weeks before the adhesive began to degrade and slide away. Within a week, the edge strips had fallen off. I replaced them, and the edges are still ok a week later, but now the larger pieces are starting to slowly slip away from the precise positioning they were originally in. Only a matter of time, I think, before they come off too. Wish these had a slightly higher-quality adhesive that lasted longer. I had a "card wallet" accessory on my old phone case that lasted almost three years without moving an inch. It was a cheapo novelty-level quality item, but it had some damn-good glue. Wish this had that. Edit: I've since used permatex contact cement to affix the various strips to the case. The large ones on the back have yet to move, and the edge strips which are subject to the most sheer lasted about six weeks before they started to come loose. The rubber itself remains in great shape, so a ten minute reapplication of cement every so often is all it takes to get me months and months of reliable use. Still worth a buy, as long as you understand that a bit if maintenance every so often will be required.

I bought these to stop my phone from sliding and was pleasantly surprised to find two sheets included (plenty of precut sizes and extra for customizing). The texture has a multi-level profile with actual 'give,' allowing it to 'bite' into surfaces without feeling sticky, and is comfortable to hold. They're easy to use, and I was able to custom-cut a circle for my magnetic PopSocket, and it solved my slippery phone problem instantly. One warning: Be mindful of your button placement. Because these have a tactile, raised thickness, placing them too close to your side buttons can make it hard to distinguish where the buttons end and the grip begins. Tips for Buyers: The Grip: It provides a mechanical hold rather than just surface friction; it stays exactly where you put it. The Adhesive: It’s very strong. After 24 hours, the bond feels permanent. Placement is Key: You cannot reposition these. If you try to peel them up, you will ruin the adhesive backing. These were a great value for the money. I'd buy these again and I recommend them.

PROS: I love this grip tape for my phone. The texture of the rubber is perfect, sticking to hard and soft surfaces without slipping, while still being easy to slip in and out of my pocket. CONS: However, the adhesive it comes with doesn't stick well to most phone cases. It stays for a couple weeks, then falls off. So I came up with a solution: 1. Stick the grip tape to paper or cardboard, depending on how thick I need it to be. In my picture, the tape on the side of the phone is attached to paper, while the tape on the back of the phone is attached to two layers of cardboard in order to raise it higher than the lens bezel and integrated ring on my phone case. The two layers of cardboard were superglued together. 2. Cut the paper/cardboard to match the grip tape. 3. Using a black marker, color the edges of the paper/cardboard black. 4. Superglue all of this to the phone case. Once I do this, it's the perfect grip tape. Despite me having to do this work, I still give it 5 stars because the texture of the grip is just so nice.

I saw a lot of reviews about product not sticking, I was skeptical on initial installation as I had the smallest strip not stick at first. I prepped by cleaning really well. My application was edge of my phone case (which I love, but was too slippery). I put one on left, one on right, one larger one on back and two on bottom edge. No worries with the straight edge application but the one curve released right away. I reapplied and gave it a bit of pressure over time and it’s solidly on now. It’s been about a month going in and out of pocket with no peeling. Great grip.

Dont listen to the negative reviews, you need to prep the area prior to applying it . I used rubbing alcohal on my compound bow let it dry then applied. Very very awesome product!

Me parece excelente; se adhiere muy bien a las superficies y de verdad es grandioso para evitar que las cosas resbalen!! Si se ven las tiras aunque sean transparentes pero la verdad no importa, lo grandioso es que ya puedes tomar los objetos sin que se te resbalen y caigan! Me encantaron y desde ayer pegué diferentes piezas en mi teléfono celular y en unas manijas que siempre se me resbalaban y ahora se sienten muy seguras!! El tiempo dirá cuánto aguanten sin caerse pero por los comentarios que leí de diferentes compradores, deberán durar un buen tiempo!! Muy buena compra!!

Stay away Doesn't really adhere to what you were trying to advance the grip on, and the so-called cat tongue side is not that grippy.
