I take this as it's been recommended for autoimmune disease as well as heart health. Niacin is vitamin B3 and we need B vitamins. Also, they're water soluble so you cannot overdose. This is not time released so you feel the flush. I was told that it's better for you to have the dose all at once so the capillaries will open more. The flush is kind of hot but I don't mind it, lets me know it's working!

This one is actual fast-acting niacin, presumably nicotinic acid. It works smoothing-out my irregular heartbeat; have been using niacin for a few decades for this purpose. If considering niacin for health benefits, avoid "Niacinamide" formulations or the time-release products. This is definitely NOT medical advise. I only pass along my own experiences.

Helps you flush your system faster. It may not be a one day quick fix, but, there is no quick fix for THC besides synthetic urine, which is morally wrong as it's cheating and deceit. If you haven't smoked in awhile, it will get the THC out of your system super fast. Good tip, buy some at home drug tests, 50 cutoff level, and every day take 500 milligrams of this when you first wake up, don't eat anything, and go and work out hardcore. Drink a gallon of water over the 8 hour period after taking the pill. Make sure to piss a lot too. I did this and my at home tests went from positive to negative after 3 days. It will eventually flush your system completely clean if you use this. It CAN temporarily clean your system out. It gives you a 6 hour negative window starting 45 minutes after taking the pill. But be wary. If you smoked recently, it might not come negative on a test. Just. Make sure to use plenty of drug tests.

I have initially added low level Niacin to my substantial arsenal of longevity supplements that I take, which includes 750mg daily NMN, 1000mg trans-Resveratrol, 10mg DHEA, 2.5g Creatine, 1000-1500mg Berberine, and K2, methyl folate and methyl B12. It is very important to understand with all of the B vitamins especially that it can have harmful consequences taking very high levels for too long. This product is good because it is only 100mg but even that is 500% of the RDA. I therefore am breaking these in half and taking 50mg before ramping up to conceivably 300mg for 3-4 days a week and giving my body time off. The science is there that Niacin in this Nicotinic Acid form is an effective NAD+ precursor (less effective than NR or NMN but different effects and a fraction of the price. As such it seems to have the associated longevity benefits. My advice is to respect the dosage and certainly don't go taking very high doses like 1g+ daily for prolonged periods. I took my first doses as two half tablets and no flush, but this may be because I have been on NMN as well for the past year so my body is already used to NAD precursors. I did feel a surge in energy similar to NMN so that's a positive sign, and for anybody on a budget, this is a very valuable alternative as NMN is expensive (and unstable, needs to be kept chilled or in the freezer).

These are 100mg tablets. After reading Dr Sauls book, NIACIN The Real Story I am convinced that I should be taking this vitamin. I started with the 100mg tablet, 3x a day and noticed nothing. I'm now at 200mg, 3x a day and got the flush this morning. Now I understand what the flush is. The tingling starts at the very top of your head, moves down to your face/ears, then the heat starts in your face/ears and the tingling moves down to your neck. The tingling continues in your neck as it moves down to your arms along with the heat. It's a bit more than a hot flash ladies, so know the experience is comparable, but unique in its own way. The tingling goes away in about 5 minutes but the heat continues to linger for a while. I will continue on this regime until I notice no more FLUSH. The book indicates it may take a few days and also states that if I stop taking the Niacin at this dose, the flushing will occur again. I believe this is a genuine product and time will tell soon enough.

My Dermatologist recommended that I try a Niacin supplement. I bought this low dose bottle of Niacin, but after taking it for a week, I found that I started to get what is called a Niacin Flush shortly after taking the dose. My Dermatologist told me that a Niacin Flush is generally harmless, but I stopped taking it.

uhmm well great product, like source naturals..but (totally on me) I totally had a reaction--a Big one. I, no kidding in the middle of a botanical garden...(having decided to take this for fertility reasons had taken a dose an hour prior to arriving, on an empty stomach: uhmm yaa, didnt do a complete med review like I should have--When suddenly (like w/in seconds) I felt like I had itchy fire ants all over me, I was breaking out in hives/redness all over (VISIBLY wi/in seconds my husband and people around me were alarmed and staring).Having no idea what or that niacin might cause this my first thought was that I was having an extreme allergic reaction ..and since I was in the middle of a botanical garden shuddered knowing gosh only knows here, what might (I thought)have caused this. I seriously have never trecked so fast to my emergency kit to take oral benadryl and try to figure out if I should expect to flag down 911 and or/expect to be intubated. So just a warning...do your due diligence on natural meds as there probably arent alot or reliable resources vs conventional meds to get the information you need before taking them.
