This pet corrector is a great training tool due to it's ability to interrupt bad behavior quickly and safely. It's a spray can type item, but it is not meant to spray at the dog. Best results (for me) occur when I hold the can behind my back and spray. The noise is where the magic happens. The loud hiss type sounds stops most behaviors in their tracks, in my experience. I love that it is safe and effective. This may not, however, be a product you would want to use with a fearful dog; it might be too much for them.

Follow the instructions and this really works. Don’t know why one review said it had a scent? There is no scent. It’s just compressed air that makes a hissing sound. It distracts and gets your dogs attention so you can change the behavior. Between this correction and rewarding good behaviors, training is really easy. My dog would bark when someone came to the door. That’s fine but I don’t want him barking and jumping for 5 minutes after the person is in the house which was what he was doing. This has totally changed his behavior, he is a different dog. I wouldn’t over use it or the dog will become desensitized. Short burst does it. Reviews said they only got 5-7 sprays per can. Either a defective can or they were really long sprays. I will always have this on hand but I don’t think I’ll need it. My dog sees it and I don’t even have to use it.

This works pretty well at disrupting an unwanted behavior, but you do have to reinforce good behavior as well. Treats in one hand, corrector in the other. Did nothing to disrupt my dog's behavior on walks around the neighborhood, as she's too interested in other dogs to pay any attention at all. These are also pretty expensive for the amount of puffs you get and I kept feeling bad about the environmental impact. We're alternating with a small squirt bottle (just water) and trying to focus on positive reinforcement.

Helpful in controlling my happy fury friends for the most part. I have one yorkie that barks through all the products I bought. She just looks at me and quits for a few seconds then barks again. It works great on my other yorkie. I like that it sounds like the dog whisper command to control behavior in his training of dogs. I recommend and willing to buy a gain. Price is reasonable.

They work for one of our dogs, but not the other two. So I keep buying them. But the price is outrageous. It's pressurized air. It shouldn't cost a fortune to buy.

It works but runs out SO fast. I have tried it all. This stuff works good. After awhile all I have to do it grab the can and they know not to bark.

I run a dog rescue and often time face very challenging dogs, especially where crate training and nuisance barking is concerned. This has been an insanely helpful tool and I have sent a can home with all our fosters. It's like a little can of magic.
