Great option for those waiting to be convinced digital can be as good as film
I love this camera! I can not say enough about this camera. The only hesitation I had buying it was the fact it took rechargeable batteries...but resolved that with the purchase of another product allowing me to always have 2 extra charged and ready to go. This camera has options I still have not used, but nice to know they are there. I have owned it for over a year and have used it enough to be able to speak of the reliability and quality of photos. It is lightweight and easy to use, takes amazing photos and has been (begrudgingly) the replacement product for my Canon AE-1 film camera. I have owned several other digital cameras and they were okay, but I always felt like they lacked something compared to the quality of the photos my film camera produced. This camera however, has been the first that I can honestly say has changed my mind about film versus digital. I have noticed that sometimes, as mentioned in the reviews I read before purchasing it, it does not instantly take the photo when you press the button. However, it just started doing that after owning it for a year and it seems that it is in direct relation to the focus...as in if you are zooming in a good bit, it does not fire off as quick. Also one other time I noticed it, it was 16 degrees out and I had been carrying it a pocket. (keep in mind I had experimented with different settings prior to all this, so I am completely convinced it has more to do with that than the actual quality or functioning of the camera). A friend of mine who does professional photography was looking for a decent option to his bulky Nikon for when we go on trips or hiking, and liked my camera enough for its portability, ease of use, and quality of photos that at his request I bought one for him for Christmas. It really is point, shoot, enjoy.

Came With a Big Crack and Terrible Camera
I was really excited for this camera. I wanted a really good camera for pictures and to take videos. I finally got this camera after waiting about two to three weeks. It came with a really big crack on the screen and when you turned the camera on the crack took up about half of the screen which was not disclosed in the description. Another issue I had with this camera is the recording time limit. This camera can only record about 30 seconds of video, which is way too short for what I wanted to use it for. I was very disappointed and highly recommend not to get this product or buy from this seller.

What a feature-packed HD compact camera for a modest price!
I bought the attractive light purple model of this phone for my wife for Xmas 2013, and was she ever surprised and delighted! A large LCD screen on the back gives you an excellent view of your photo/video, and both HD pics and videos turn out stunningly clear! Nikon has always been known for outstanding optics, and they don't appear to have skimped on this modest-priced unit. My wife is tough on electronics, so we'll see how long this lasts, but after one month with a lot of use it is still like-new and functioning perfectly. Highly recommended!

Battery damaged & camera doesn’t work
Had a horrible experience purchasing from here!! The battery doesn’t hold charge for more than 5 minutes (even though it is a battery from Nikon). I can’t take more than 8 photos without it saying ‘Battery Exhausted’ and shutting off. I’ve even bought a battery charger and let it sit outside of the sun for hours and it didn’t fix anything!!!

This new 6400 is like a Cadilac compared to the 3700 being a horse ...
Nikon 6400. Bought this to replace a old Nikon 3700. what a difference, the old one did a job over the years, thousands of pic and movies lot of wild life .. This new 6400 is like a Cadilac compared to the 3700 being a horse and buggy, there is no comparison. the old said 3x Zoom. it would not zoom at 25 feet, looked the same as no zoom, I was leary of this one which is 12Xzoom, Oh the old one while in movie would not Zoom, the New one zooms in any mode and It is truly a 12 zoom, will try to attach 2 photos taken at 300 or more feet no zoom and 12 zoom, it does what it says. clear touch screen, that is a time saver, only had it a few hours and all ready learned a lot, touch screen makes it easy to navigate and change the settings, the old one never did learn how to use all the features and was terribly slow navigation. the turkey was taken from a window at 700 feet away full zoom, the coyote 80 feet or so without zooming Smaller slimmer can't say how much I like this 6400, at $129.00 it is a steal. By the way some one said charging is crappy, I ordered this from amazon and now have 3 batteries , one with it and the two with a charger, always have one charged, think I paid around $17.00 charger and two batteries at Amazon here's the link B008UZHDOI 5 day's later Boy practiced on some squirrels at 80 feet, one was setting and one was in full run, both came out perfect, the running shot no blur, both filled the pic like they were 5 feet away, update two months of use, still love it more, But the batteries that I have the link to at amazon, why, because the stock sony battery failed to charge with very little use, the others are great, last forever. can't seem I can insert a product link so heres the link copy paste B008UZHDOI got a coyote at about 80 yards, camera is great, hope it loads a short movie, just ordered another Nikon, here Nikon COOLPIX L830 16 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 34x Zoom NIKKOR Lens and Full, it has a 34 X zoom, here on amazon today it it $196.00 should be even better for little more money,.
