Doesn’t clean it
I bought to clean the stains on the toilet floor, it didn’t remove any.

I rewallpapered (have I just invented a new word?) my living room quite some years back, with some thick lining paper. I gave it one coat of emulsion, but never got round to painting a finish coat. So you could still see all the cut in lines. Over the years the wallpaper became grubby with hand prints etc... So the wall needed a really good clean. So I used a bucket of water and a 3rd of a bottle of this. It brought my walls back to a freshly pained surface with minimal scrubbing. It also dry's quickly leaving a flat matt surface ready for paint. I was already extremely pleased with the outcome. As it used very little of the mixture I kept it in the bucket not throwing it away as I knew I was going to have more cleaning to do after decorating the whole room. I have a hard wearing laminate wood floor, and whilst I covered my furniture with dust sheets, the floor was left uncovered. So after painting the ceilings (oil based undercoat), walls (emulsion), and woodwork (oil based eggshell), there was lots of spots of paint on the floor. This never worried me as I know this wood flooring, with a little elbow grease comes up spotless. With this mix still in the bucket, and a scouring sponge, I proceeded to clean every single bit of paint off the floor with little effort. The HG Intensive Cleaner is a brilliant product with a very long working life. One mix in a bucket will last you your whole job. It is extremely foamy even in cold water. No hot water needed here. This is one of those products that will always be in my toolbox from now on.

Love this for cleaning down paint work. I don’t rely on it fully to replace sanding especially on gloss finishes but it’s great for cleaning and I soak my brushes in it overnight too.

This is absolutely brilliant! From simple cleaning at 100:1 to preparation for painting at 10:1 and everything in between. It just works and is worth every penny.

Lovely pine scent, easy to mix and use. Didn't wear gloves and had no problems. I did buy a nice big, firm grouting sponge and some white heavy-duty, scouring pads. I applied the diluted mix with the sponge and went over it with the scouring pads a few minutes later. I then left the mix to work for 10 -15 mins and rinsed off with water using a clean sponge. Once everything had dried completely I started filling any minor defects and rubbed down. I then painted the doors with a water based primer undercoat and two coats of a water based satin finish paint. Brilliant results!

I would call this a liquid sander but a very good degreaser so it’s very effective for cleaning surfaces and stubborn areas but its expensive for the price and sugar soap can do the same thing
