I'm usually a cheapo and buy the cheap circular needles to save money. I'm very happy with my purchase! This is my second purchase of an addi product and it did not let me down. To me, the cable on this pair (compared to cheap brands you buy at a local big box store) is a vast improvement. I say this because it is much softer and will not coil up on you as badly as the cheap plastic cables on others. I use a tote bag or a large purse as my knitting bag. I recently purchased the addi lace interchangeable circular set, which comes with a nice case. When I don't have this with me or something else, these needles still hold up perfectly being stuffed uncovered into my knitting bag. I still have the zip lock bag these came in and occasionally use that as a cover while traveling with them. I've used my sock rockets needles more times than I can think of and they still look brand new! I ordered these for my sock knitting projects (of course) and found that I was finishing projects faster. I also found that my socks looked consistently better in appearance. This size is perfect for knitting socks using the magic loop method! The smooth joins, evenly pointed tips, and soft cable make this a wonderful product. I will definitely be purchasing more addi products!

These needles are very slick, and you have to be careful or you will drop stitches. The slickness makes knitting faster, as you don’t have to spend so much time rearranging your stitches. The nickel coating eventually wears off if you use your needles as much as I use mine. They are still usable at that point as knitting needles, just not as enjoyable to use. I would estimate I get 20-30 pairs of socks from a pair of needles before the coating is seriously degraded. The 40-inch (100 cm) length is perfect for making socks.

I ordered these and they got to me in 2 days and are very nice in quality except they are 8" instead of the 40" I ordered. UGHHH!- update after we notified them i got the wrong size i was sent the correct size in 3 days and they are amazing!!! First the curl in the cord isn't tight so it won't be curled tight forever and that's amazing. Second they are so nice. they are sturdy and functional. Overall a great purchase.

The needles arrived as described and are a real dream to work with.

Be advised that Addi Turbo US Size 1 and 2 should more accurately be labelled 1.5 and 2.5 based on their metric dimensions. A US 1 needle is 2.25 mm, the Addi Turbo is actually 2.5 mm; a US 2 is 2.75 mm, the Addi Turbo is 3 mm. It seems like a small difference, but if you are used to knitting with a 1, the Addis will feel bigger because they *are* bigger. I bought a 40" size 0 and 1 to knit socks TAAT. They are nice, pointy needles with flexible cables and decent joins (where the cable meets the tip), although the joins on my 0 are smoother than the joins on my 1. The cable on the 0 is a different material (and somewhat more flexible) than the 1. I tend to grip my needles in a way that, over time, bends them. I don't know yet how these Addi Turbos will stand up to that type of regrettable abuse.

Pure and simple - addi Turbo needles are AWESOME! I've splurged on a couple of these needles and I don't know if I can ever go back. I've just started trying socks in the round but the beanie I knit with a larger set knit up faster than any other project I've worked on and made knitting more fun. I find I have less flaws and don't have to spend as much time moving my stitches from needle to needle (I knit continental). I'm loving the long cable and it is very flexible and doesn't kink. I will slowing start building my supply of addi Turbo needles!

These are nice, sharp knitting needles with a very long cord. If you're over zealous like I am, the cord is long enough for 2 pairs of socks at once. The join is nice and smooth unlike some cheaper brands I have bought in craft stores, which makes magic loop a breeze.

Easy to work with it.
