Works good on my 90 HP Honda
This is a universal hub that fits several different outboard motors and comes with spacers and washers to fit the different motors. It came with directions, but was still not too clear on what to use and not use. It fit the Turning Point prop perfectly, and I like the performance of the new prop.

This Hub is for Volvo Penta SX/OMC SX Cobra Engines
See: Turning Point Propeller 501 Marine Master Torque Hub Kit I have always used Quicksilver props (14 x 20 RH, 4 blade) on my Alpha One Mercruiser Stern Drive. I decided to try Turning Point's Hustler prop (14 x 17 RH 4 blade) since the reviews have been spectacular and I need a better hole shot. I ordered the prop and 504 Hub; however, the hub didn't fit. I discovered after calling Turning Point, that the difference between the 501 and 504 hub is that the 501 is for Mercruiser engines and the 504 is for Volvo Penta SX/OMC SX Cobra engines. This is not stated in Amazon's description and isn't mentioned on Turning Point's website either (but is on the box). Be careful as Amazon treats a return as if it is the customer's mistake, not theirs. Since I got the 504 and need the 501, I have not used the hub. That said, it looks like a better hub than the Mercury Flo-Torque. Also, the literature implies the hub is interchangeable with the Flo-Torque hub- it is not. I tried the new TP prop with my old Flo Torque hub and it didn't fit.

Great Product
Everything as advertised. Fit the new prop and outdrive shaft perfectly. The instructions could be a little better. This hub fits 3 generations of OMC outdrives and there was an adapter included that did not fit my application. I figured it out, but a note in the instructions would have been nice.

Works as designed. Good fit in prop and shaft. Directions are very straightforward regarding hardware installation.

Good hub. Poorly labelled.
Works great, but had to do a bit of digging to discover this only fits a Volvo. If you have a Mercury, you need the 501 hub.
