I figured after 20 years with the same ironing board it was time to send it off. I use my ironing board almost daily and was surprised it was still standing. Anyway I splurged on this one. Not cheap but I wanted to get the same wear and tear as I did with my last cheap one. This is a substantially solid and well made board. Not sure that I need the iron holder at the end because when you iron with steam it keeps it at a slant and I well I just don't use it that often. That said it is a secure holder. I generally put my board and iron away once it has cooled down, etc. so I would not store it for any long periods at that angle. The board is nice and wide, the four legs are very stable. My old board would topple over (with the T-style legs) every now and then. Don't see that happening here. My only complaint would be that near the top, the board isn't quite welded on properly to the frame so it squeaks when I am pressing down in that area. Not a big deal. Certainly not worth dealing with sending it back or contacting the seller so I did neither. Maybe I should have for the price but I just didn't want the hassle... there was a lot of packaging in the shipping and yeah didn't want to do that. Anyway, I love my new ironing board and am very happy with my purchase

This board is essential if you have a steam generator type iron as it has an extra wide place to put the machines. I have a Phillips one (this board fits all steam generators). The build quality is definitely premium here - one look at the packaging and you'll understand. The board is huge, so make sure you have enough to for it! One thing I should say is that even though it is very substantial and well built, I don't know if it justifies it being literally double the price (or more) of a regular ironing board. But if you can afford it, go for it - it's definitely a step up from regular boards.

Après des déboires pour des tables à repasser moins chères, j'ai franchi le cap de payer plus pour une table à repasser. Je ne regrette rien. Le plateau pour poser la centrale vapeur est enfin un vrai plateau qui soutient le poids d'une centrale de beau gabarit sans devoir "mordre" sur le plateau de repassage pour la faire tenir et ne pas risquer une chute. Mon conjoint qui fait 1.86 m apprécie sa hauteur réglable, plus d'excuses pour ne pas faire le repassage :) Plus besoin de se casser le dos pour lui. La largeur de la zone de repassage est très appréciable aussi pour des éléments comme les draps ou les serviettes. Je recommande ce produit.

Es una tabla firme, de buenos materiales, bien acabada, estable -en parte gracias a su peso-, con una superficie ancha que es la envidia de la ropa grande, planchas más superficie de ropa en menos tiempos al tener que mover menos la prenda y te permite colgar mucha ropa sin volcar. Recomendable, un diez.
