I'm a native Texan, and I grew. up in the 1950's when "horny toads" were so common that we could catch them right there in the back yard. This is a really accurate piece of art, and the price is terrific. I'm very pleased. I also give them as gifts to folks who've never seen Texas wildlife and the strange critters that wander the plains down here.

Sieht gut aus, hat aber etwas gedauert, bis die Sendung auf den Kanaren angekommen ist. Macht aber nix, "Mann" hat Zeit :-)

The figure looks better in person than the picture. It is very good at a short distance at a quick glance. I think you do have to measure your expectations vs price. I grew up catching and holding live ones, but you just cannot measure a figurine of this cost vs the real thing as they are small & have a lot of fine detail and i would expect a much more detailed model would have to be made of a harder material that would not be suitable for children to play with and cost at least 4-5x as much plus taking into account the limited demand. A great little figurine at a modest price.
