These are the biggest and best pecans I’ve ever purchased from a large company that sells nuts for snacking. They are huge and I have purchased them twice now and I can’t get over how delicious and big they are. They are very fresh and in the two jars I’ve purchased, I never found a bad tasting pecan or any of the bitter stuff that pecans are notorious for having. These are twice the size or the Planter’s Pecans that I have always purchased and I usually find a rancid one or some bitter in the Planters that I use to buy. They are salted and I wish they had an unsalted version of these as they would make an incredible pecan pie. These are my new “go to savory snack” for pecans and I have always considered Planter’s the best of the bunch, but I hate to admit it, but these are my new favorite pecans. Here in Texas, pecans are the state tree and nut. There are many different varieties of them and they have been harder to get because we have had two really bad winters back to back and water shortages are the new normal. My husband who is a 7th generation Texan was quite impressed with the size of these and he grew up on a farm that his family owned that had various types of pecan trees on it. He is very familiar with pecans and he is hard to impress as his father grew them and they had various varieties that were large. His father could graft trees and they had pecan trees that would produce two or three different varieties. He was impressed with the size and said that they never had any trees that produced pecans as large as these are! You really have to be careful with these or you will eat half of the jar if you’re not careful. Unfortunately, pecan’s tend to get stuck in my teeth and gums and I have to waterpick my teeth, but these are so good and meaty that I don’t care if I have to use the waterpick to get the remnants out of my teeth and gums. I don’t think my Dentist would have any problems with this either. Hands down, these are the best commercial brand of pecans I’ve ever purchased and they are well worth the price for the freshness and the quality of the pecans. This year, local pecans have been much higher in price than they have in past years. It might be recession related, but I think it’s more about the climate change than anything else. Give these a try and you’ll see that they are incredible in their size and taste.

These pecans are some of the best I’ve ever purchased. I bought these solely based on reviews, and they totally lived up to the hype! They are fresh, not overly oily, but far from dry and brittle. They have the perfect amount of salt on them, and the flavor is outstanding. If you’re looking for a crunchy and healthy snack, then look no further, because these are definitely delicious!!! For the price paid, I am very happy, especially considering how expensive pecans can get!!! Thanks Amazon, please keep these coming, I am hooked!

I find these pecans to be always fresh with just the right amount of salt. They are crunchy have great taste. I find them the best snack option as they are a healthy alternative to chips, pretzels, popcorn or any other "salty" snack. They are a great alternative to folks dealing with other health issues. They are the best tasting nut I have ever tried.

Don’t let the picture on the jar and the words “mammoth pecans” deceive you. Jar is mostly pieces. Very few whole pecans. Tasty just not as described. I would like to amend this review. Seller credited me for the first jar and the second jar that I ordered was very nice. With mostly large pecans.

I love the taste of these Fisher Oven Roasted Never Fried Mammoth Pecans. I used to buy them at my local grocer but they stopped carrying them so I turned to Amazon. God Bless Amazon. These are the tastiest Pecans and so good for you too! This large 17 oz container lasts a long time too. Heart healthy and delicious, you can't beat this!

I love snaking on roasted nuts like pecans as they are a healthy snack. Over half of these were in pieces so it made it more difficult to eat these as just a snack food. The ones that were whole were very nicely sized and really good, nicely roasted and perfectly salted. The pieces I had to add to other things like my salads or cream cheese to make them easier to eat. I may order them again. The flavor is absolutely delicious.

These were fresh & tasty. Just during shipping they must have bounced around another as there were many small pieces.

Nuts were sizable but were sadly rancid. :(
