Anyone notice a difference in package and smell? New one got for my mom is different is picture and scent

Mine is a couple of months old. Notice no difference.

Can this be used to replace a moisturizer?

Yes. I currently live in the tropics so its a bit thick for me to use during the day. At night in the A/C its fab. They also have a day cream in their line but I can not seem to find it on line. It was wonderful to use.
