Will the sun recharging work even if the bag does not heat up (as in during winter)?

The Moso Bag does not need heat to rejuvenate. The UV rays from the sun rejuvenate the Moso Bag and there are UV rays even on cold days. The sun may not be as strong through, so leave it outside for two hours instead of one. Placing it inside behind a sunny window, may not be effective because most windows block out essential UV rays for rejuvenation. I hope this helps!

Do you have to soak these bags in water first? I had some prevously that you had to soak and it was sort of a pain...Thanks

No, you don't have to soak in water. Every month or so you're suppose to put them out in the sun to recharge, but that's it.

Can I rejuvenate air purifying bag in microwave?

I would NOT. I put them outside in the sunshine monthly. They work perfectly. I have numerous in refrig, closets, …..Hope that helps
