More than three blades do not provide any extra benefit. With the high price of blades, I found this an excellent value combination, and Gillette blades are good quality. The handle on this blade holder is also very comfortable.

I still can't believe how well these Gillette razors work. smooth shave and it's difficult to get it to cut you even if you're not being so careful. they are durable and even when they're "dull" they still do a decent job of shaving you.

They work fine for me. I am an old fossil who is not impressed with going from 3 blades to 5 or more...Gillette is good quality and Amazon pricing is good.
