I used about a quarter inch of this tube along with a 3D print of a tiny bracket I designed, two short M3 screws, and locking nuts to fix a design flaw in a spool heater and filament dehydrator I also purchased on amazon. While I'm not sure if this is the same sized tube used internally for my printer, I do not regret the decision. Since I made the modification, the spool filament feeder has worked flawlessly with no binding and not fallen out every time I change spools and gotten lost like the ones that came with the heater. I keep the tubing around to replace the section currently in use for when it eventually wears out. The price was good and delivery was quick. I would order this again.

Worked and is still working perfectly. I even just did a complete cleaning and I was able to still use the tubing. Definitely a saved item for when I need again or refer.

I am using this for routing filament from my dry boxes to the printer. I have not used it where it is going to the hot end (bowden extruder style of printer) so cannot comment on how well it deals with heat. For my application it seems a reasonable quality tube, it cuts cleanly and is easy to insert into a fitting. It is however a little stiffer than others I have used and ideally I would like it a little less stiff. This could be a positive in some applications.

Ideal for my printer. Be sure to measure the diameter of the old tube. I lucked out and the tube I ordered was the correct size.
