This is my first electric griddle and it works very well. The day I got it I cooked a pork shoulder steak and it came out juicy and tender. The next morning I made a hole package of bacon at once and it cooked nice and even. The surface is very nonstick and food will slide around if your not careful. Clean up is super easy, I wipe the surface down after it's cooled a bit and than rinse it out in the sink. The surface gets very hot so be careful, the instructions say to let the griddle heat up for ten minutes but it reaches temp faster than that. As other have noted the grease tray will slip out easily, bad design I would have taken off half a star for that if I could. Al in all I recommend this griddle especially for your first one, good price for the size.

Very excellent grill we absolutely love it. The size of it is great. It can be stored away easily. Everything fit perfect it seems very durable and unstable. You can use this for anything so it is very versatile and it’s not heavy at all. It heats up very nice

we got this griddle 18 months ago and have used it plenty. Mostly for pancakes (5 boys) but also for a variety of other foods. obviously with a large family we need a large griddle - and we don't want to pull a giant cast iron griddle down and cover the stove so we picked up this electric griddle. *COOKING* it cooks 'OK'. TEMP Control: unless you have a infrared thermometer you're not going to get a precise temperature. not a lot of fidelity on the small dial - but most griddles i've ever known in the last 40 years are like that. EVEN Heating? No - the aluminum is so thin that even on low temperatures or after pre-heating you're going to get a band of hot around the outside and a much cooler inside. **CLEANING** the surface has held up well - and with a tiny bit of butter wiped on the surface between pancake rounds it works great. however just like nearly all of the griddles out there you'll find that food and gunk get caught in the handles and places where it is very hard to clean - so minus one star there. **BUILD** why is the metal so thin? this is disappointing for so many griddles out there. if you put any cool/cold foods on this the heat is immediately sapped and the griddle takes a while to come back to temp. Also after only 18 months the griddle has warped with the middle of the griddle lower than the sides (ok - maybe only a 1/8 inch but it is noticeable). Since we store it vertically with nothing on it i surmise that this is just from the heating and cooling. **SIZE** Yup - its pretty big. i like big. i'd like bigger - but this is about as big as you get without buying a commercial kitchen. you can do 8 medium size pancakes if you're careful - i generally do 6 larger well spaced cakes. overall this griddle is just fine. am i enamored? no. but for the price it works.

I had given this a very good review but, after living with it a few months, it now gets 1-star. And, for the same reasons all the other 1-star reviews list: 1. NOT non-stick. The surface is nowhere near non-stick and is difficult to clean. There are also areas of blackening that even the recommended deep-cleaning method would not remove. 2. Terrible heat distribution. Lay extra-thick bacon across it, cover with a cooking sheet, cook at 300F for 10 minutes and you will get half-burned, half-raw pieces. 3. Awful customer service. I made a warranty claim over the darkened areas, had multiple emails with the customer service, sent photos and then my claim was summarily denied. I requested more information and an escalation but those emails never got a response. They simply quit the conversation. For this alone, I will never buy another Bella product. At the time of this writing, there are over 9,000 reviews, a vast majority of the positive. However, if you sort by 1-star reviews and read them, they all say the same thing: not non-stick, poor heat distribution, terrible customer service.

Love, love, love my griddle. So easy to clean, always use a little oil to prime for cooking. When given a couple of minutes to pre-heat the griddle provides even heat on the entire cooktop. Best electric griddle I have ever used. Spacious cooktop. If I could change one design element it would be to make the drip drawer a little larger ONLY because I would love to be able to store the cord in it when it’s not in use. Great product.

We use this griddle 4 -5 times a week and have loved the large capacity. It works well and is an easy cleanup. We don't use anything to grease the pan, which I like. The one thing is there is one black spot on the corner that I can't figure out if something burned there, but my friend has the same spot on hers so it must be an manufacturing issue.

Purchased this for a group sleepover and Girl Guides Camps and am very happy with this product so far! Size is great, heats up pretty quickly, and is super easy to use and clean. I do find that some spots on the surface do get hotter than others, however, once the surface is fully warmed it’s not as noticeable.

This is the best one I could find, the quality seemed a bit flimsy, but I was comparing to my old one and now I think this is perfect, cut down on all the plastic and it stores easier. The cook top is great, non stick and super easy to clean. Let's hope it stands the test of time...has to beat my old one, that lasted 15 years.

Nice and big. You can cook a nice family breakfast without having to use 3 pans.

I do like the size, also very light in weight and easy to clean. Loved that the grease tray clicked into place. Have had others that were quite easy to fall out. Again with this one and other brand names I have had the middle does not heat up as well as the side areas.
