Really enjoy and actually translates to course
This is an easy read with relatable material to take onto the golf course. the Anti Yips book. I've really enjoyed and have actually reread a few passages. it is not one big book but several small stories and lessons about approaching golf. If you're looking for swing tips this isn't the book for you, but if you over think shots and generally get into you're own head, I high recommend this book.

Very helpful
I am not done with this book yet. However, I am going to write the review early. While I noticed some people who reviewed this book mentioned that the info is "obvious", the fact is that most truths are obvious once learned. Some of the biggest epiphanies seem extremely clear and obvious once they are had. There is no reason to mention the obviousness, when the value is not in the obscurity, or lack thereof, of the information. I played a round yesterday after reading about a third of this book, and kept a few of the ideas in mind, and I am extremely happy with the results. I had more fun, and was more relaxed. I am still new to the game, but I am making steady progress, and I am really glad I found this book so early in my career. There is no reason for me to sloppily tell you the short version of the ideas here. I am telling you right now that no matter where you are in your game, you will be happy you got this book. It is not magic, it does not tell you how to astrally project the ball into the hole, it is just there to tell you some fundamental ideas that will help your mental game. BUY THIS NOW. You will not regret it for a minute. I can't think of any resource that could have helped my game so dramatically for so cheap.

I have read several great golf books lately but this one really stood out
I have read several great golf books lately but this one really stood out. Once I opened it I could not put it down. The mental game in golf is the key to take your game to the next level. This book was that X factor that helped me understand why I was acting like such a hormonal teenager on the course and how to stop these bad habits. The methods have really helped me get better, but more importantly it helped me enjoy the game more. In fact, the first 18 holes after reading this was some of my best and most enjoyable golf ever- after 8 years of playing. I still had my outbursts, but I was conscious of them and recorded them. By the 10th hole, I was so in the zone I was really surprising myself with the accuracy, distance and a short game I didn't even know I had. What a feeling. Sure there were the "thats not what I expected" moments but they did not ruin the experience of a great round! Highly recommend this book. I immediately gave it to my best bud who had literally thrown his club 20 feet in the very same game. I said read this it will change your golf life and our playing relationship.

This book is great!
This book only covers the mental part of the game which, to me, is about 75% of the game. Iโm currently reading it for the 2nd time because the topics and โlessonsโ are so good, and they help a lot, but itโs easy to forget some things after golfing for several months after reading this. This will be my go-to reference whenever I get off my game, unless I can attribute my faults directly to something physical.

Simple but solid reminders
As the author requests at the beginning of the book, this book will only help those that approach its message and tips with an open mind. Naturally skeptical, it took a few chapters before I was able to stop silently criticizing the flowery "zen" language and new-age metaphors and actually hear the message being delivered. Once I did, however, it was well worth it. As I stated in the review title, the author offers simple but solid tips and concepts to improve the mental aspects of your golf game. At first blush a lot of it appears to be common sense (stay in the present, choose positive self talk over negative, be curious), but it's funny how often we humans (and golfers) tend to ignore this advice and continue committing the same mistakes time and time again. And, at the very least, the author is 100% correct: if you spend even a fraction of time replacing bad habits with good ones, and replace frustration with intrigue, you will undoubtedly enjoy your rounds (and life) a lot more. I know I sure do.

Fรผr mich genau das, was ich gesucht habe. Hier zwei Zitate um ein besseres Verstรคndnis zu bekommen: - "Prepare for your shot as best as you can. Have as vivid an image as you can and settle yourself as much as you can. Then commit to it with body, mind and heart, Like the pig in a bacon and breakfast." - "Take your best shot and be ready to deal with the results. Pre-acceptance means taking the attitude that you can handle whatever results you encounter. This reduces fear of unwanted outcomes, meaning less interference with making a good swing. And that means a higher percentage of good results. If you accept the possibility of having to scramble, youโll find yourself scrambling a whole lot less." Schรถnes Spiel!

This book has changed my way of playing golf, in a positive way
This book made me realize the importance of the mental aspect of golf. I am reading it for the second time, right after finishing a first read. I am a lot more relaxed on the golf course now, and more positive. As a result, my swing is better, more regular, more relaxed. A MUST read.

Mentally helped my game massively and really starting to lower my handicap!
I'm off 10.8 and I've always had the mentality that every round I play will involve playing 14 good holes and 4 'it could be anybodys guess' holes. But I got so fed up of not playing how I know I can play, that I wanted to try something different, a book. and.... It's exactly what I needed. When I'm in the zone, I know I have ability to go even par all the way round (because last week I was genuinely -2 thru 11. But until now I've never let myself sit back and wonder if it was actually my head that was causing me issues. When playing badly, I've done the usual thing of getting a lesson a few times a year, or just instead bought a new club and blamed it on the equipment. This book has helped me massively already. My scores are lower simply because I'm thinking about golf and the situationsin golf differently. So if you have hit your virtual wall or desperately want to get better, quicker and frustrated with not putting a good front 9 and back 9 together, then maybe its actually your head that you need to fix first before your physical ability. The gap now between my 'good round' score to 'bad round' is getting smaller, more consitent and handicap is starting to drop
