Works for what it is. It's just a fun gift for youny kids that may want to play with their hair without being something more permanent. It can be a little "melty" and I ended up storing mine in the fridge when my daughter wasn't using it. Seemed to be softening or melting while it was left out (heat on, winter Christmas gift). My daughter has blonde hair and every color does show. Start with smaller pieces of hair and gently tilt the chalk comb up as you pull through and down the hair to keep enough tension on the hair for chalk to evenly apply. Not sure I described that well enough, but you'll get the hang of it :) washes out easily. Can transfer to your skin. If you pull too hard through the hair strands the chalk has a tendency to clump and crumble, so be careful of that. I would buy again. My daughter loves it.

Yeah I got this for one of my kiddos and even when applied properly omg it got all over furniture and clothing. It's a great gift idea but messy.

Lo consiglio! colora molto i capelli, il pettinino è molto piccolo, quindi sui capelli lunghi ci metti un po' però molto valido una volta che si secca, non macchia i vestiti o le mani nota utile: se avete i capelli decolorati come me, fate occhio a non abbondare troppo con il colore..il rosa fa fatica ad andare via, mentre l'azzurro è andato via subito.
