Very easy to make. Tastes average.
It's easy to make. The idlis are ready (size no bigger than golgappa!). You need to pour boiling water till the mark, drop the idlis and sambar powder, shut the lid and they're ready in minutes. Taste is not that great but if you are on a picnic or something, maybe. The idlis and really tiny though, so be sure to carry atleast two to three boxes per person!

Aashirvaad mini idli ready to eat
Big packet, small quantity. Though space required is ok to keep the pouches without breaking. Pour hot water up to the level mentioned only afterputting the contents, then only pour water. Twice you have to stir for about 30 seconds, first immediately after pouring water, and second time, after 8 minutes soaking time, again stir for 30 seconds. If water volume is as per given level, then it makes thick sambhar, contents good enough for a teenager, for adults, it is just tiffin. Taste is ok. Only thing I disliked is the quality and the size of the given folding plastic spoon which is somewhat useless. Whereas, I got some very good soup eating spoon with other maker's ready to eat idli sambhar. Recommended. Already bought thrice

Rock solid idli
Idli remains rock solid.Quantity too less for one person. Sambhar is good. May be the seller should sell onl;y sambhar and not wirth idli.

Bit sour in taste
Sambhar taste very sour, but overall works good. Needs boiling water and may need more than 8 minutes for Idli to soften properly.

Too expensive and idly is not tasty
It is good to carry while traveling. The idly was not at all tasty. Sambar was ok. For this quality and quantity the price is too high.

Delicious
I had a very low expectation for this since it is South Indian and that taste would not be there. But this was really good. Almost authentic. Maybe it was my hunger too, but this was delicious. I never eat sambhar, but I devoured it. Delicious and to be used while travelling for fast food. Only issue is to arrange for hot water 😆

Don't Buy this Product
Bought this instant idli box for Rs.55. it contained only 5 small idlis which are one rupee coin sized. As per the instruction provided. I cut the sambar powder packet and emtied it into that paper bowl. Then added boiling water till the mark provided in the container. Then i cut the idli packet and put the idlis intha sambar bowl. And made it to soak for 8 minutes as per instruction. Idle was very hard and didn't get soaked. Sambar taste is ok. But the vegetables in the sambar didn't get boiled. It was raw and hard which was annoying while eating. Please don't buy this even just for trying.
