Kumon Hiragana Learning Poster, Age 2+, Educational, Unisex

Great product! It’s helping my 5 year old with his Japanese. He loves looking at the pictures and reading the ひりがな. It’s increased both his and my vocabulary. My favorite part is the lack of Romani, now the kiddo can’t “cheat”. He is now asking about the vocabulary of all sorts of different objects around the house and world.

NOTE: This review is about the same as my review for the "Learning poster Katakana", because they're both pretty much the same product. Cute poster. I like the way the kanji are organized so you can either locate them by which letter starts the character (Ka, Ki, Ku, Ke, Ko) or which vowel it ends with (Ka, Sa, Ta, Na, etc.), similarly to a multiplication chart. The poster is laminated, which is great. It makes it waterproof and sturdy. A common problem I have with posters is that if you move them, it can be difficult to do so without ripping them. The poster being laminated helps prevent this. There's not much else to say about this. But if you get it, I also recommend getting "Learning poster Katakana" as well. I wasn't a huge fan of the price, as I would have preferred to pay less (Wait, who wouldn't?), but I wouldn't call it overpriced at all. Although it wasn't until after I got said posters that I knew why this was. When I was originally looking for posters, the price did make me hesitate. Although I'm glad I decided to go for it anyway.

Exactly what I wanted. Nice and big, laminated for durability, and comprehensive (has all the regular letters, plus special combinations such as "gya" and "cha"). It takes a while to arrive (a month in my case), and there is no tracking information. This didn't bother me at all as I have safely received other items from Japan in this manner, but just be forewarned if you are someone who needs to know where your item is during transit.

I learned a bit of Japanese in college and I'm hoping to use this to help teach my son and finally have someone to talk to lol.

I received my order earlier than expected and was very happy about that. The size of the poster is excellent and it's easy to read.

大きくて見やすく、濁点や半濁点、拗音まで載っているところがとても良いです。 文字も教科書で使われているものと同じなので、子どもが混乱することなく使えます。 トイレの壁にはると、あっというまにひらがなを覚えることができました。 厚みもあり、光沢のあるしっかりした素材でできている点もとても良いと思います。

Received very promptly (much faster than the estimate). The item is high quality and quite colourful. My kids started practicing their あいうえおs right away! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to practice their Hiragan
