Belt technology has finally improved! Waistlines change and the hole system is antiquated because more times than not your actual size will be between holes. The ratchet system allows you to very easily hone in on your exact size so it's a comfortable fit for you. It's also faster to put on because of this. All you do is feed the one end through the buckle till you get the fit you want and it clicks into place as your feeding it. So no more stretching your belt trying to figure out what is the best belt hole to use. Maybe Belt Tech 3.0 will auto feed through all the pant loops making it even easier. That would be awesome. But seriously, I hate wearing belts and this belt has made it kind of nice. About the quality I got the buckle with hexagonal pattern and the shiny strip already has minor scuffing. It's a belt though and belts always take damage so not too surprised to be honest. Shiny stuff usually scuffs pretty easily so keep that in mind if scuffing bothers you when you pick your buckle type. Rest of the belt is like new so I don't regret my decision and I still like this buckle. Since this belt loses the holes, theoritically, you don't have to worry about stretching but only time will deny/confirm that theory. The leather quality looks and feels pretty decent though definitely NOT high end. What I am curious to see is how long the grooves on the back of belt hold up over time after constant use since that is what locks the position into place. I am also curious to see how the lever holds up over time as that is probably the bigger probable point of failure. It's pretty stiff in an awkward way so it might get too loose after a lot of use. Buy a bigger belt than you think you need. It is easy to cut to size as there is a trap door on the back side of the buckle that you can release the leather side that goes in there. So you don't need a pretty cut. Definitely do NOT cut the rounded side. Review: For the price, You can't beat it.. - This is a review Of THIS BELT and the quality of it NOT a review of the "Ratchet Belt" design. I did post what I think of ratchet belts below for anyone who is curious, but it in no way effects the review of this specific one. This is a Solid belt, I wasn't going to review the belt until it's good and worn in, but 2ish months in and Its still as nice as the day I got it. The leather is easy to size/cut and the ratchet is simple, and after a lot of use it still works as smooth as ever. The buckle itself has a cool design, in fact this is the only time I've had a belt that got compliments. So from my eyes they have a great quality product. Will Edit if it rapidly falls apart. Thoughts On ratchet belts If you have never tried a ratcheting belt before. The concept is worth ALL the stars, it's more comfortable, you can adjust it in seconds rather than having to go the bath room unbuckle, then hope the slot you pic will work.. With this it's as simple as pull until you reach a comfy spot. Ate a big meal and now it's too tight, un-couple and go down a couple clicks and its separated by very little increments, so you can always have it at your perfect size..

Worth the money?
Got this belt about 2 weeks ago, it looks like a pricey belt, the looks are great, it is a little flimsy for my liking, I did not realize how flimsy it would be, hardly any rigidity to it, the buckle is a little hard to undo at times, not sure if that is user error or not, prbably, overall not a bad belt, I use it for a gun belt so I hope it holds up, I wanted to try a ratchet belt since you can tighten them in 1/4inch intervals, that part I like, for the price I can't complain very much. Update on the belt, I have had this for about 2 months now probably. The belt has held up better than I thought, still a little flimsy but it hasn't let me down yet. I have figured out that if you go to tighten up the belt to the point where it doesn't click into the next position then you push on the release lever it is very easy to get off, I had trouble with this before. I have changed my score to 4 stars because of this, but because it is pretty flimsy it doesn't get 5 stars. Everyone I show loves the look of it and the buckle, the buckle gets the most remarks.

I've never been excited about a belt... until now.
My old bet was wearing out after many years of wear, so I figured that it was time to invest in a new one. I was looking for a design that would work for casual wear, but could also be a little dressy as well. I stumbled across this design on Amazon, and had never seen a ratchet-style belt before. The buckle looked sharp, and there were many nice designs to choose from, so I went for it. I'd only ever bought belts from off the rack at department stores before, so when I received the package, I was a little surprise to see that the buckle and belt, itself, were separate from each other. It was a simple matter of locking the belt into the buckle, and the hold is very secure. I also like that the option to cut down the belt to a shorter length is there, too. The materials used all seem to be of a high quality. As I stated above, I'd never used a belt of this sort before, so it took a few seconds to figure it out, but it was so cool to hear that fast clicking "ratchet" sound as I adjusted the belt to fit my waist. There are a series of notches on the inside of the belt that lock against a mechanism on the inside of the buckle, itself, and they hold snugly and securely. If you've ever had the issue with a normal hole-style belt, where one hole is too tight on your waist, and the other isn't tight enough, look no further, because the notches are spaced so closely together, that you just pull the the desired tightness, and it's perfect every time. When you need to remove the belt, there's a small lever release on the bottom of the buckle. Simply pull it outwards with your finger, and open the belt. Nothing could be easier. I've never been so satisfied with a belt before, and I'll definitely be back, because this brand has impressed me.

Great Belt
The small adjustments make clickbelts a pleasure to comfortably wear. This belt is still in use after a few years. It became my go-to dress belt.

Nice Belt That Could be More Durable
I bought this just over 2 years ago and have worn it virtually every day since. It's finally served out its life and is getting tossed out today. The belt material is literally falling apart. Setting up the size and cutting it to fit is straightforward. Use a utility knife with a fresh blade and a straight edge for the best results. Make small cuts and test fit. If you cut off too much, that's the end of it! The ratchet works perfectly. In 2 years it hasn't slipped once. It takes a bit of fumbling to master the release tab to loosen and remove the belt but it quickly becomes second nature. The principal gripe is the belt material itself. It is not as durable as it could be. After about 18 months it started showing signs of cracking along the sides, mostly on the back. Then, about a week ago, the front panel of the belt split about an inch from the buckle exposing the inner layer of the belt material. Durability is OK for a $20 belt I guess, but I have several that cost only slightly more and have lasted far longer. Full disclosure. I like the rachet type of belt so much that I did order 2 more. It adjusts in roughly 1/4" increments instead of 1" and is much quicker to don and remove. I just wish that the belt material held up better.

Holy crap.
First let me just say I was super skeptical of the design of this belt. I didn't understand how it worked. I didn't understand how it was better than a regular belt. But I read the reviews and decided to give this a try. I'M SO GLAD I DID. This is literally the perfect belt. You put it together like a normal belt, but instead of putting the metal part through pre-made hoops in the belt, there are tiny ridges underneath the belt. You tighten the belt, and you can get it exactly how tight you want. No more awkward waist size phases. The best part is, this does seem like a very sturdy belt, and it doesn't have that stretchy thing that always breaks on those "higher end" belts. You know what I'm talking about. I'm telling you, if you're looking for a belt, get this. It is worth the "higher" price. Doesn't matter what buckle you get, they all work the same. I think they all look great so it was hard for me to choose. Only thing I can't comment on is its long-term wear. My belts usually last me a year or two, because I wear them to work and I move around a lot. I'm also not someone that has multiple belts. I fully expect this one to last longer though, just by how it's made.

Great Price, Functional, Stylish - Perfect for Everyday Use
Summary: Despite some minor issues, I believe this belt has great value, function, and style, thanks to the various buckle options to choose from. I have been using this belt since Jan 24th, 2017. I use this belt every day on the weekdays. I found this belt to be very durable, the buckle itself is not light, and feels like it will last some time. The leather belt also feels durable and has a slightly waxy feeling on the outside. It is very easy to remove the belt from the buckle, cut, and re-attach the belt to the buckle. I have no worries of the belt coming loose. If I must find a complaint, it is that the buckle's black paint is somewhat easy to scratch, revealing the shiny metal underneath, as seen in my pictures. So far, the belt is holding up well. For its price and multitude of options, I find no real complaint.
