This cleanser is relatively gentle and is good for those who struggle with oily skin or combo skin. I have combo skin and this seemed to work well for my skin without over-drying it. I'd be inclined to give it 5 stars, but I am a bit offended by the ad copy for this. The product info claims "Dermatologically tested. Free from: parabens, fragrance, preservatives and colorants." First, of course it has a preservative; most products should have some type of preservative unless it can be used up quickly. It has a very gentle preservative, ethylhexylglycerin, but that's still a preservative. It also has a small amount of alcohol, which I suspect is used for it's preservative abilities more than as a solvent. This is also not what I would classify as fragrance free. According to a leading chemical manufacturer that labs order from, Pentadecalactone "can be used as a flavoring agent and fragrance ingredient due to its musk flavor/odor." It's also listed as a perfuming agent in two reputable cosmetic ingredient sources I use regularly. Indeed, this product has a scent, albeit mild and not lingering, that others remark on as well.

Key ingredients: -CM-Glucan -Salicylic acid -Pore refining active Free of: -Fragrance -Parabens This oil control face wash is very creamy but it lathers up really well(don’t need much). It doesn’t have a fragrance added and seems fairly gentle for sensitive skin. I’ve only been using this product for a couple of days(day and night) and I am already noticing that my blemishes are starting minimize and heal. The texture of my skin is also improving. I think with a couple more days my skin will look more clear and smooth. I’m loving the results so far.
