This curriculum is both well done and priced far below what most homeschool options cost. The ones I have used in the past usually run into the hundreds, so finding something this solid at this price feels like a dream. The content and presentation are high quality. It covers all the basics in a way that is clear and engaging. The pages are colorful, the layout is easy to follow, and it keeps my child interested without feeling like busy work. I highly recommend this one. It is well done and it does not break the bank.

Absolutely wonderful. My child has really excelled using this book. He was behind and has had a hard time. After using this his testing improved a level.

This book is packed with fun exercises, easy to understand instructions, and fun pictures. This workbook is great for helping teach my child and she enjoys how it helps reinforce what's she learning. Definitely recommend.

I bought this book for my boyfriends son. I wanted something to keep him in the habit of working on schoolwork over his summer vacation between 5th and 6th grade. He is at the age where he is not too happy at the idea, but willingly goes along with the process. There are colorful drawings and illustrations that help the book look a little more fun than just the black and white copies of things he gets at school. There is a broad range of topics covered by the book, even sections that require the student to write little essays. There are answers in the back in case you do not understand a question or are unsure of your familiarity with the topic when trying to help your student. (The answer pages are perforated and easily tear out, which I did to prevent any kind of peeking on his part!) My only complaint is that sometimes the book lacks instruction, especially the math portion. It will indicate to solve problems, but if it is a new concept to your child, there is little instruction on how to solve it. This means sometimes I'll have to have a mini session on different processes or techniques to solve problems. For example, if your child is unsure of how to divide decimals, the book offers little explanation, just an example and sentence or two before the problems. I am ok with this because any new concept he learns will enable him to do better and maybe even be ahead in his 6th grade math class, but it can be frustrating for families or parents that are not confident in these subjects themselves. Overall I am very pleased, and although he may prefer not to do any work over the summer, maybe one day he'll realize it benefited him!

Love the curriculum in these books. They have worked very well for my 11 yr old each school year since the 3rd grade and he's in the 6th grade now

We Have been doing homeschooling and for my 12-year-old this has worked out extremely well. They used to solve Sams Club but I never am able to find them so this was great for us to be able to find this on Amazon have it delivered and for the price you can't go wrong.

I didn't realize when I ordered this, that it has 4 subjects in the book. It's a very large book chalked with 6th grade curriculum. My child does public school at home and he needed some extra help getting ready for state testing. This has helped him as we spend 1 hour everyday using this book. We call it, tutoring time. The book is set up in a fun way for the kids, the stories are fun to read and the curriculum has pictures, which kids relate to well if they are visual. My son likes this book and I would recommend it, he is on 6th grade level, he is not advanced nor is he behind and I find this curriculum spot on with the public schools in Texas. We are also using 2 other State books but my son always wants to work out of this one. I think the explanations and instructions are clear and the pictures and content keep it fun. Fun is the BEST way to learn!! My only regret is that I didn't buy this at the first of the school year!!! Happy learning ;)

I do travel homeschooling for my son, and we've been out of a book for a few months now. Plus, with Covid-19, we haven't had a chance to buy one at a local store. I usually like to flip through the pages, but was pretty pleased with this one. I do wish, however, that it included other topics like science or geography. Typically when spending $20 on a book it provides more topics, but overall I am pretty pleased with it. The print is in good quality, and though I have found a few typos in it, that's often common when purchasing books like these (which is ironic, in my opinion). Thanks for helping provide learning materials for my son!

I absolutely loved this product! I purchased it as a "used for good" item, and I was initially concerned that more than a quarter of the book would be marked or written in. However, when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that only the first two pages had any signs of previous use. The rest of the book was in pristine condition, far exceeding my expectations. The quality is simply impressive, making this purchase well worth it!

Very thick! Lots of activities but very American. Still usable but most of the reading is about American presidents etc colourful and inviting.
