I was looking to replace my 22 inch Littmann from the 80's. This was a great upgrade! Love the sound quality. My colleague has the 27 inch Cardiology III Stethoscope and I feel that the sound quality from mine is a tiny bit more clear and crisp. The 22 inch is short though, and can't be hooked around your neck (like the 27 inch can). It is a heavier stethoscope than average and stays in place well, despite being short. Highly recommend; I think it is a great investment.

This is a great stethoscope. The 22" tubing is perfect for proper acoustics. The 27" is mainly for people who want to maintain distance from the patient during the exam or for securing the head of the scope in a coat pocket while wearing the earpieces around the neck, but acoustics will suffer. I like this scope more than my Littman Master Cardiology scope. The diaphragms are versatile and responsive for low and high pitched sounds and the option to convert the bell shaped side to a conventional bell is fantastic for those that prefer it. There are no rubbing tubes to interfere with auscultation and the soft ear tips seal out extraneous noise. In short, the Littman Cardiology IV 22" stethoscope is the most versatile and the most acoustically pure scope yet available from Littman. I highly recommend it.

I ordered a 3M 6151 Littmann Cardiology IV stethoscope for my NP clinical; wanted to upgrade my Littmann Classic III which I have had for the past 14 years. Pros: -Great price -Easy to order and return. -Packaged well protected. - Solid material. -Delivered earlier than promised. Con: -Very short tubing (22)- this is great for some who put in their coat or scrub pants but I don't. -A little heavier if you carry yours around your neck (which I do) but this can be positive b/c of quality. I returned and reordered a longer (27) one. awaiting for delivery.

Too short

You cannot buy a better quality stethoscope, than a Littman. This is the second cardiology stethoscope I’ve bought. The first one lasted me 15 years. The sound quality is fantastic. Very fast delivery, packed extremely well. Great seller. The price is great. Will definitely buy from this seller again. Highly recommend this seller.

Stethoscope defective length is off it’s too short. Very disappointed missed the return date.

The Littmann Stethoscope was a gift to a nursing student that loves it! She needed a pediatric/adult head and I have had Littmann's for years, so I got her one. Learn your heart and lung sounds on one of the best!

This is a shorter length model and is supposed to work better But I (cardiologist) did not find it any different from the usual length stethoscopes except for developing a back ache due to the extra bending Not worth buying friends

Ordered from University of Toronto I think. They helped to resent it by another shipper as there was a shipping problem with the previous carrier. Don't know why it is very dusty though when I first open the un-sealed box. But everything else is fine.

Too short and no refund because it's considered a personal health product by Amazon. Waste of money.
