will this work with Zoom 25.4mm Adjustable Stem, 85/41mm by Zoom? or do I need a shim?

Gonna need a shim. They should offer more sizes so buyers wouldn't need to hunt down shims just to make them usable.

The lower part of the adapter is 1'' and the top is 1.1/8, basically the top part is thicker than 1''.

Overall length of the unit is 5 1/8”. Stem is 3 3/8”. Usable (safe) stem length is 2 1/2”.
