Technically slightly oversized by measurement, but maybe that's why it's not technically advertised as fitting my vortex tripod, but if you don't mind giving the locking lever or whatever locking mechanism you have on your base a little extra push, it's great, fits tighter and with less movement than some original factory qd plates for my vortex pro gt tripod

Good fit ok an old tripod i had lost the adapter
It worked on a canon tripod from 2006 ! Just make sure you measure properly the tripod

Too small for harbor freight tripod
Good quality little piece, nothing against the product but unfortanetly it did not work for me as i brought it to replace the broken plastic one for my bauer laser level tripod i use for my spotting scope. It is too small for that if you're doing the same

Better than the original
We recently returned a telescope that I used this adapter with and forgot to take it off before sending it back. I thought I'd have to buy a new tripod, but tried this first. Success! It's an exact duplicate of the original, fits perfectly and is even easier to release than the original. Fast delivery sealed the deal for a perfect transaction.

It fits my Promaster 6100 Tripod
This is the only replacement mount I could find to fit my Promaster 6100 tripod. This is a tighter fit, but works fine. I am very satisfied with this mount. I’m not sure how durable the cork mounting surface is though.
